The QB that came in for Rodgers a few years ago and did reasonably well, Matt Flynn is back with GB.

Flynn after measured success filling in for Rodgers wanted to be where he could be starting QB and I think journeyed to Oakland and Seattle and apparently Buffalo Bills too but without success.

Flynn really did well for GB though only leaving 22 months ago. So we will see, Rodgers going out shows you how important that QB position is.

I think the QB position has become more important in the NFL and really you don't have that many "elite" quarterbacks playing to begin with.

If it is any consolation, New Zealand won the rugby world cup with their 4th choice fly half by the time of the final. So you can do well whilst key positions are in chaos.

Is Thurmond III any relation to that Storm Thurmond who was a Senator for 100 years? The latter did apparently have a mixed race baby despite his politics.

Read about that player who bought turkeys to replace 300 stolen from a homeless shelter. Good man.

lol minus 5 in greenbay today. I suspect the bikini girls are covered up today :)

Finally Matt Flynn gets behined centre with the pack down by 16. Leads us to overtime and we fall just short of winning and settle for a rare tie :(

In all seriousness it would be nice to see some teams that haven't won or been to the superbowl recently get a shot at the title.

Therefore I'm hoping for a Superbowl of

Broncos/Chiefs/Bengals/Dolphins vs. Seahawks/Panthers/Eagles/Lions/Bears
