Nothing to do with money Simon. Completely empty grounds would drive them out.

Maybe Den. Would probably leave us without a Club to support as well.

(Cue lots of comments along the lines of it's not our Club anymore anyway etc. etc)

why would it Den,they get off on publicity no matter if its good or bad.

Doing a topman here ,we should boycott first two weeks of new season. It would then be easy for me as I will be in Turkey.

So me not giving Venky's c£350 next season will pressurise them but them losing north of £2m per month won't?

I'm not sure its got anything to do with money Rev, I just can't bring myself to support the regime and everything they stand for. In my opinion buying a season ticket means you endorse the rape and pillage of the club, I can't do that.

But I won’t slag off anyone that does buy a season ticket, we all view the situation differently.

Loud n clear gav , my gripe is people slagging fans off for going who never go anyway . It's easy boycotting from 100's of miles away . Like I say no problem with anyone's decision but if I stopped I know I'd stop forever .

As ever its down to personal choice and opinion.

My choice is not to renew until these complete bell ends have left the club...in whatever state that may be.Their continued so-called 'ownership' of OUR club

is at a new low for me.I will pick and choose my games and I am content with my decision.

Not rocket science is it, no season tickety sales, empty ground for the first few home games, they'd be gone within weeks, especially if fans groups got together and issued a joint statement saying fans refuse to back Venky's.

I'm not daft enough to think it would ever happen Simon - and I genuinely don't hold any grudges to fans who still want to go down to Ewood every week. Like Gav though, I feel that the only thing the fans have in their armour is to say "I'm not going along with what you're doing to my club".

No club or business could survive without customers.

I will Probably renew my season ticket regardless of what Division we are in, and go to selected away games, Despite some of the worst performances since the Jim Iley period I have been to more away games this season than at any time since the 1980's, Its not that I'm a masochist, its just that in the intervening years Family and work commitments meant I could only get a handful of away games in.

Hmmm. So Denial is a river in Egypt!

Who could forget your 80's FTH article "When is it our bloody turn", listing every team that had made it to the old first division, while we failed...Burnley, Blackpool, Notts County, Carlisle. It still burns NOW!

So it the spirit of open, honest, healthy feedback, you are a masochist!

I also have an MA in Denial. I am a lapsed boycotter. Didn't buy a season ticket, but couldn't stay away!

The starting point for Venkys is to put in place a proper football structure off the field of play. By that it means removing the inadequate morons in office.

Agnew and Shaw have proven to be incompetent. They assisted by the fool that is Singh have brought the club to its knees and have got to be rid of.

A proper experienced footballing senior management team have to be in place and soon.

The management needs sorting asap. If GB is to be the man he needs to know now then plans can be made for the new season.

The fitness regime needs overhauling and the players need to get fit.

Only when Venkys look to address those issues that matter will I consider handing over my season ticket money again.

I don't "slag off" fans who go, Abbey. Just think it's strange how some are proud of the fact they're willing to hand their money to Venky's, no questions asked.

It's the same as you saying I "slagged off" the protesters, when the opposite was proven. Not nice to spread malicious lies about folk.

I don't understand this argument though, that somehow Venkys have become Blackburn Rovers - for a number of reasons.

Blackburn Rovers isn't just defined by the TV, radio, newspapers and Internet stories. This is where - and it's not a popular opinion - 'out of towners' don't see things the same way as the locals.

It's about the town's football club (and umpteen different non-Venkys things I've listed previously). When I'm at a match, I'm not thinking about the Raos - hell they're not even there and if you didn't read the messageboards you wouldn't think much about them at all.

The idea that people are just 'handing their money over to Venkys' is flawed too. People pay what they feel is a reasonable price to watch 11 blokes chase a pigskin around a patch of grass. That's what they get for their money.

If Venkys reduce the quality of what is on offer to the point people don't feel it's a reasonable price to pay, they have a choice: stick with their club loyalties, to keep whatever record they have going, or find something else to do.

And if fans are staying because of club loyalties then that has little to do with Venkys either.

The fact that Venkys get the money (if we assume it isn't actually swallowed up by running cost) is simply an occupational hazard.

Unfortunately, as long as they own the deeds, Stu, Venky's are an immanent part of Blackburn Rovers. They don't need to be at the ground for their presence to be felt. It's there in the relegation battles, the revolving door of failed managers, the dwindling crowds, the disenfranchised. If this was simply a matter of locality, then I don't think so many of the diehard supporters would have walked away from the club. I completely understand the point you're trying to make and appreciate when someone says they're going to renew/attend, albeit reluctantly. I might not necessarily agree with the principle but at least they're self-aware. I was unlucky enough to fall for a club at the other end of the country (and another in a separate one!) but I'm still perfectly capable of understanding the pastime that is the beautiful game. What I object to is people who say stuff like "Venky's won't force me out of my club!" and assume the moral highground.

Why do you object? That doesn't seem an unreasonable position to take - for someone who, say, has been attending Ewood for 30 or 40 years or more. I'd say they've earned a little high ground.

An empty stadium can't be hidden and would speak volumes.

Yeah, they're really concerned about next seasons gates aren't they? They can't get Season Tickets on sale quick enough can they?! Desperate to entice us back they are.

Lets be honest, they don't give a stuff. They're making their money in other ways, no doubt about that.

Let's say they'll shift 10,000 STs next season at 250 quid a pop. Unrealistic I'd say selling that number. That will generate £2.5m. Derek Shaw has just cost them that through incompetence allegedly. He keeps his job.

An empty stadium may well speak volumes, a tad embarassing, but they're used to that and clearly don't give a stuff. Then again, maybe they do but are too busy trying to wrestle control.

OK Bob, calm down, its only a point of view! Supper not ready?

PS money isn''t the point, its about embarrassment and total rejection. What's the point of owning a foot ball Club that no-one watches?

One rovers just tweeted "hopefully" ticket prices will be released !! Hopefully .. Speaks volumes about the entire regime.

"Hopefully" by a particular date or "hopefully" ever?
