X-Files needs to come here for new season pointers.

This is the best club in the world for side entertainment Ill give you that - Buffys never slayed the amount of vampires hanging off this clubs neck.

Hey, it's that guy.

of right, I thought you meant current posters on here. I know people from the club read the site, but not sure if any post...

They might not be posting, you can bet they are reading though

I asked him if it was all one sentence. You think that's bullying? Nowt so strange about folk.

It's not bullying at all and I am sure when he read it he laughed. I think he was excited about getting his point over and I have to admit, I laughed at your reply, as it was very funny!.

There was also stories about others from the other side so to speak getting free away tickets, travel etc. Like I say though just stories but the name of the game from above was divide and conquer. Thankfully that's passed with the removal of certain devious individuals on Rovers payroll.

Plenty hardcore fans who were at each others throats still turn up and support the team now which shows they are just fans after all not paid for mercenaries or vigilantes or whatever.

That is a very important point. There was a divide and rule strategy. Split the fanbase-job done! We should not fall for it.

Give over Abbey, there were about 3 full stops in that post, how the feck was that supposed to be legible?

It was hard work to read but fair comment if you gave it the time. To be fair, it would take less effort just quoting it and putting it into prose than laying into the guy for his English skills!

Not everyone has amazing reading/writing skills- we should not be ostrasizing posters for it. The point is quite clear to me anyway, we had a few people who did everything they could, the people in the wrong had far too much money and influence to ever be caught up on it.

He's also right in what he says about publishing this dossier. People could lose a lot for very little reason. It's the people we are dealing with, shady folk.

You have to also credit millionvagrant or whatever it is (see my short term memory is incredibly bad haha don't pick on me) because the way he's presented his posts has helped me understand better exactly what went on.

Thanks Jbizzle. The posts are just summaries of some articles written at the time. The authors for all i know may now hold different views or have a differing understanding of the events written about. The information summarised is very much in the public domain and the views or facts provided are not my own. I have summarized them in chronological order to try and give an overview. In no way are they a proven history of what exactly went on, but they do themselves raise a number of questions. We to this day still do not have absolute definitive answers to many of the points they contain.

It's 2014, not 1994. Nobody comes on here to "report back", if anyone was so inclined (and Venkys were at one point) it's bloody trivial to pull all the public data en-masse and analyse it in bulk, rather than having somebody play at being a community member.

Sure, readers from the club come and go, no doubt when their personal interest is piqued, but frankly there is virtually nothing said publicly on here worth reporting back on (not in public at least) though I imagine a few have been along to have a giggle at some of the lunacy on this thread.

Likewise if they really wanted to influence opinion, they'd organise a proper marketing campaign, not drop breadcrumbs on here for you all to chase down.

Could someone explain to me how the plans Glen outlines for ownership and profit taking etc which needed Premier League status (tv coverage for a start) reconcile with the other theory at the time that relegation was the core aim of the club for asset stripping, with virtually throwing matches deliberately (Spurs away / Kean looking paniced when we won matches)?

Are the Italian mafia the Glaswegian mafia on holiday?

And could someone explain if Shebby was a part of the original plans for the club, a Plan B by that group, a way to deflect attention, an effort to halt the plans placed in by Who Knows, or something altogether different?

Can we invite Giorgio A. Tsoukalos to join the message board and see if he can untangle the Web?

I didn't think it was bullying. We all know savio has problems with written English and, when he first came on here, his posts were almost unintelligible. Since then he's concentrated on writing shorter posts and putting some full stops in, and everyone has appreciated his posts more. This one was just a one off caused by his needing to get his point over quickly. I think he'll realise himself when he looks at it that it was a bit hard to follow, and I don't think he'll take offence at all. If it were persistent criticism as it has been at times in the past, then yes it would be bullying, but it don't think that was or was intended as such
