adsfortheblues Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 A drab draw, with little offering going forward.

Devon Rover Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 I'm going to be optimistic (not completely destroyed yet!) and say we'll nick a 2-1 win. I'm also preparing to be disappointed again!
cn174 Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Expecting the worst, hoping for something. Need to win.
AggyBlue Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Are we going to go for it or are we going to keep it tight and try and nick a goal? Are the players going to play like it matters? Are the crowd going to make some noise? Will there be a crowd? All will be revealed shortly
scrumpyblue Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 I don't care how or when we score but PLEASE Rovers, can we just have 3 points today? COYB!
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted April 13, 2013 Moderation Lead Posted April 13, 2013 Ignoring the 'true' bit for a second... rejoice? I'll rejoice when Venkys leave. If we stay up, I'll shrug. This is where what have been driven to but now we should forget what else has gone on and 'get behind the boys'? In my opinion, Bowyer is intimating that Venkys will not support the club if we are relegated and we will be put into administration. Many fans now welcome that to be rid of them. The alternative is more of this next season. The drop in revenue has come from relegation from the PL, which they @#/? away by backing Kean. The difference between Championship and League One income shouldn't make that much difference to a family with Venkys supposed wealth. Haha, re the bit in bold, I've allowed that, assumed it was a literal translation and maybe not what he meant given the poster's location...
den Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Well, if Bowyer plays Rhodes on his own up front again, I fear we'll spend the afternoon watching rovers play in front of Derby with no penetration whatsoever - again. He has to get CKR involved down the middle where Derby will know they've been in a game.
TurkishDelightFan Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 My predictions: Rovers 3 derby 1 Mill wall 2 Wigan 2 aet 2 - 3
Roverall Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 My predictions: Rovers 3 derby 1 Mill wall 2 Wigan 2 aet 2 - 3 HIP HIP HOO-RAY!
RibbleValleyRover Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 I have a funny feeling (probably indigestion) that we might sneak a 1-0 win today.
rovers11 Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Think we'll win today. Rhodes, Kazim, Dunn providing the attacking threat; Jones, Lowe, Williamson is a decent midfield.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Wayne Wild @mrwawild3m Just saw Danny Murphy walk down tunnel and straight out the ground !Didn't look too happy !!!
neophox Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Well Murphy isn't in the squad despite being fit, so he's sulking the way Bradley Orr did. When Bowyer isn't playing him we all know that Murphy is one of the bad taste in the squad as Appleton adressed earlier... A question, if players are injured, as Etuhu and Robinson who are on huge wages, does the Insurance Company pay some % of their wages?
patrickvalery Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Wayne Wild @mrwawild3m Just saw Danny Murphy walk down tunnel and straight out the ground ! Didn't look too happy !!! Never seen him muster a smile anyway. Poisonous influence and I can't help but think we'd be much better off with him away from the squad. Not that it'll happen.
Oklahoma Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Team today: Sandomierski Kane, Hanley, Dann, Morris Lowe, Jones, Williamson, Dunn CKR, Rhodes. I have no idea what formation will be used. We have 4 CM in the team, CKR natural position is RM. Maybe 4-4-2 with a diamond formation in the midfield... I would have chosen this: Sandomierski Kane, Hanley, Dann, Morris (or Rekik) CKR, Williamson, Jones, King Gomes (or Dunn) Rhodes
BRFC1995 Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 got £10 on Derby, just looked at their team today strikers are'nt great but sammon has enough about him to bully Dann and Hanley but the midfielders have 30 goals between them ours have about 4. May as well look to make a profit just cannot see a win for us
neophox Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 If just Appleton kept Rochina, I Think he would still be here.....we're really missing his creativity....
Clitherover Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Wayne Wild @mrwawild3m Just saw Danny Murphy walk down tunnel and straight out the ground ! Didn't look too happy !!! Well that's a positive start before we've even kicked off. I despair seeing his name in the starting line up. If just Appleton kept Rochina, I Think he would still be here.....we're really missing his creativity.... I don't think we'd be in a relegation dog fight if we still had him.
G Somerset Rover Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Bit extreme that we wouldn't be in a dog fight if we still had Rochina. BUT there's no doubt that he was the one player we had that could change a game with a moment of brilliance. Absolutely no creativity in the side now, Dunn asides. Still going for a late, painful draw. Got money on it too.
neophox Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 COME ON ROVERS!!! COME ON ROVERS!!! COME ON ROVERS!!! COME ON ROVERS!!! COME ON ROVERS!!! COME ON ROVERS!!! COME ON ROVERS!!! COME ON ROVERS!!! COME ON ROVERS!!! COME ON ROVERS!!!
neophox Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 4 strikers/wingers on bench in Best, Goodwillie, King and Gomes.
Oklahoma Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Anyone following the game on the radio? If possible, can anyone tell me what formation are we playing in? The team selection is confusing... Wolves 1 - Huddersfield 0 Barnsley 0 - Charlton 1 GOAL!!!! RHODES!!! Penalty!
