If you are carrying out internal investigations, it can be very effective if you isolate the potential protagonists. What better way than having them 6,000 miles away in Pune where they can have no direct impact on any investigation whilst your investigators rifle through, uninhibited, sensitive documents and contracts whilst at the same time taking soundings from an allegedly disgruntled employee base. Oh what fun !

True, could this be the first thing Venky's have done right since they became owners?

Don't understand your animosity towards Nicko.

He is a typical journo, however, he is highly respected by most (ask Martin Blackburn & Cryer).

Not sure that you have the full facts where Ms Silk is concerned:

Alan Nixon ‏@reluctantnicko Protected account 13s

@mozrover Too bizarre. Karen Silk working her notice. Rest of main players in Pune. But no resolution.

He's a self loving bull poop journo.

You wouldn't bet against him being right on this occasion !

I will go out on a limb and say that, IMO, Rovers will be under new ownership by the time next season kicks-off, at the very latest.

Bloody hell I've just spilt lucozade all over me flaming phone laughing .

Whilst true, who's actually left in the uk to do the investigating? Kung-fu Charlie?

Knowing what bets you've posted on here as nailed on I would ... I will have 50 with you that they are still here when I come back from turkey in August ... It would be best 50 lost if your right mind .

Chose from Karen Silk, external consultants, KPMG, the club's lawyers.

Or the training just before two massive games.

Careful, you are accusing them of having some competence.

I think it's widely regarded that Karen Silk is a sound operator.

KPMG are a widely respected global concern whilst I understand the club's lawyers are drawn from two distinguished firms.

If it was my business, I would also ask Tom Finn to get involved in any investigations as he would know where to look !

Sounds like they may have the auditors in, lets hope so, followed by the fraud squad !

They will be there as a matter of course in auditing the accounts, and all that entails, for year ending 31 March 2013

Are you ignoring the wager offer mercer man?

Are we approaching the end game?

Maybe someone is wrapping this whole sorry episode up and hanging it around someone else's neck?

We always wondered what their exit strategy would be.

Wouldn't want to take your money - should allow you to buy about 15 pints of Stella in celebration !

Offer still there if your that sure mercer .. Like I said I'd be happy giving you 50 to prove me wrong ... Take it up then . I reckon when I turn my lap top on they will still be here and that's 2 weeks into the season .

Oh I think most people would.

He's a guess-worker at best.

I reckon if there is this internal investigation, it will be just going through the motions and if any funny business is proven, then lawyers letters etc. will keep us from finding out about it. Especially if it involves Strictly come dancing rejects. It's the hope that certain people get their just desserts that gets you.

I understand Agnew did not request GB to go to Pune. It was a direct request from family.

I think everyone can rightly assume that a circular firing squad assembled in Pune and everyone and anything is being shot at.

Stunned that Shaw got the vote of confidence. I can only guess that will mean the end of one or more of the incredibly few actually competent people left at Ewood.

On the otherhand, Shebby and his pals could be history (and I am not talking BRFCAG who will probably still come up trumps for the dwindling band of supporters).

I think Glen is guilty of making it a willy-waving contest and perhaps he has a deep seated jealousy of Nicko's wide ranging football contacts.

It could just be that Nicko has it wrong! Not unknown is it?

that daily mail article seems to have accidently on purpose forgot to mention most of those players where brought in on either free or minimal transfer fees so obviously the agents fees for them are going to be high, I honestly think most of the Portuguese players are at least halve decent(from the bitsNbobs I've seen of them) but they needed good management and coaching(on&off the field) to help them settle, et....., they got the extreme opposite of that......
