Brfcrule1 Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 I echo these sentiments although I never personally knew the bloke I really liked his contributions to this site my condolences to his family during this very sad time and if there is we as a community and the players could take from Kelvin is his amazing signature T.E.A.M. Together Everyone Achieves More some of our players could do with remembering this. I also wish Kelvin could have seen us in a better time. Say hello to Uncle Jack from all of us RIP Kelvin. Quote
DanLad Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Goodbye, Kelbo. The world is a worse place for your passing. My heartfelt condolences to all your family and friends. Quote
Head Rover Heels Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Prompted me to log in after a few years away. You'll be sorely missed Kelbo. My thoughts are with your friends and family. Quote
Claytons Left Boot Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Yes, would have been nice to meet up and chat about the lads, particularly around the late 50s and early 60s, a time I really wish I could have seen Rovers wise. RIP Kelbo. Quote
Backroom Tom Posted April 10, 2013 Backroom Posted April 10, 2013 Seen some nice words said on twitter about Kelvin as well, seems he was very highly regarded on the football scene and in his community A huge loss Quote
S60tti_BRFC Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 R.I.P Kelbo! I'm sure Uncle Jack will have welcomed you with open arms! Quote
Guest Norbert Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Never met the guy, but as a lot have said, he was one of the better posters here, and I did read what he had to say as it usually pretty balanced and literate. Hope his family are OK. Quote
Veevs Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Sad news indeed.. always a shock when someone you even know a little passes away, puts life into perspective. You will be missed by many Kelbo, RIP NB if you are up there reading this forum, you could always pop back and haunt Venkys a little. Quote
SergeiTheMeerKat Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 R.I.P. Very sad news. I'll miss our occasional PM's. Sincere condolences to his family. Quote
Blueandwhitemike Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 R.I.P. Kelbo, hope the family can take a small crumb of comfort from the fact he is so well regarded, even by strangers thousands of miles away. Always interesting and always respected Quote
DP Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 When skimming through topics I would always stop and take the time to read through his posts. Says it all really. Sad news indeed. Also the same age as my Dad who is also a devoted Rovers fan. Will be sorely missed. Quote
onlyonejackwalker Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Not knowing or ever speaking with Kelbo, makes me wonder why this news made me so sad. I can only reiterate what others have said. Keep battling on Ben. Quote
