rovers11 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Pleased with that line up, looks strong. Think Marcus Olsson and King will cause them problems with their pace.

onlyonejackwalker Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Givet? Well that has to be good news if of course he can still run. Amazed he is being allowed to play. There must not now be enough games left for contract clauses to kick in. COYB.
Backroom Tom Posted April 16, 2013 Backroom Posted April 16, 2013 If they have anyone with even a modicum of talent down their right hand side we are in big trouble I have no idea who their players are for the most part though (or most teams around us maybe that kind of arrogance if partly to blame for our predicament) Best has to turn it on tonight, from their goal difference alone you can see that even if we are crap at the back it's not out of the question that they are more capable of conceding than they are of scoring
davulsukur Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Who's Givet? Lets hope he's in the right frame of mind
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 It's a gamble playing Givet given his lack of game time, however our choices are pretty limited. A match fit Givet would probably be most people's first choice centre half. The young kid from City would be gamble as well. Who'd be a manager ?
diziet2 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 (edited) we are going 3 in the centre. Southern, Norwood and Clayton. Danns out wide, Vanghan centre and Scannell on the other side, standard back 4. Easy enough to swap to 442 if needed/required. flexible and balanced. strong powerful and quick wide and centre. lets see what happens... Edited April 16, 2013 by ben1142

koi Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Givet? name rings a bell but can't quite place a face...
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 If Dunn was anything like fit I may have fancied starting with him. He seems to a catalyst for the club recently. I can only assume he's being held back for a rescue mission.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted April 16, 2013 Author Posted April 16, 2013 Let's see where we are when the season has ended.
AJW Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 think our team line up is intended not to lose the game , there no natural creativity there , there's very little goal threat from midfield Kings pace will cause any team a problem but he very rarely turns that threat into action , and Best has been poor so far, so we'll be relying on Rhodes to win the game for us ..... i hope for a win .. any win... 1-0 looks favourite , but i think Huddersfield will have confidence following a great win for them at Wolves and they'll be more than happy with a draw .... a good betting man will be backing 1-1
Proudtobeblue&white Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Best team in the circs, happy with that one! Didn't realise Dunny not playing, odd if fit
Oklahoma Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 COYB!!! And since we are not alone in this race, I hope Hull, Watford, Birmingham, Brighton and Derby all win today...
Clitherover Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Surprised to see Givet in, are you reading these forums Gary? Decent enough line up, that should be able to do a job. Would like to see Dunny feature at some point.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Good Town turn out, filled bottom half DE & few hundred in top tier
McClarky Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Seems to be selection by pin at the moment, hope we get lucky tonight.
Clitherover Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Apparently the film makers wanted the moors of Darwen, but found the people of Darwen too scary I thought it was Bacup for some reason.
Backroom Tom Posted April 16, 2013 Backroom Posted April 16, 2013 lets see what happens tonight... Tonight neither relegates nor saves anyone It will go a long way mind

Lathund Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Best has to turn it on tonight, from their goal difference alone you can see that even if we are crap at the back it's not out of the question that they are more capable of conceding than they are of scoring We aren't crap at the back though, we're just so used to being utterly useless defensively under Kean that we don't notice. We concede a lot of cheap headers (Feels like that anyway), but beyond that look relatively solid. Before the Cardiff and Sheff Wed games we had the 6th fewest conceded. Even now we're 12th, having conceded one goal more (55) than the 6th best team has. We are where we are because we have scored the 5th fewest amount of goals in the league.
McClarky Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 We are OK at the back but create so little going forward we only have to concede 1 to lose most games. I wonder how many games this season we have had more than say 7 or 8 shots on target, not many.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 You only came for the money.....chant about JR - town fans fantastic backing
