The supporters v legends match sponsored by Haywood and Jackson , in association with Derian house is happening on Wednesday 22nd May 2013 , KO 7pm

The supporters team has now sold all the positions in what promises to be a very unique occasion .

They will come up against a team of ex rovers legends across different eras ( players names to be announced closer to event ) .

We currently have sponsorship packages and corporate packages available to groups , businesses , individuals. These include ball sponsorship , player sponsorship , advertising boards , big screen adverts, whilst private boxes and entry to the premier suite and jacks kitchen are also on sale now .

We have a limited number of post match tickets to the legends party also now available

Match tickets priced at £5 for adults and £1 for children will be available from Blackburn Rovers ticket office at the beginning of May .

This event is to raise community awareness of various charities whilst raising money for the former players association .

The legends will be announced in the coming weeks as part of the marketing campaign for the event .

The FPA are pulling out all the stops to ensure that their line up includes some of the biggest names to have played for Rovers . I fully expect when they are announced a large crowd to support the event as some of the players for one reason or another never got that chance to say goodbye or the one final season we hoped they would have

Just an update , will be announcing some of the players in about week as we now have 11 confirmed and the other 5 should be confirmed this week

I remember Tugay playing in a testimonial (was it for Tony Parkes) and he stole the show, he played at a walking pace and just toyed with everyone

Then got substituted, changed and exited the ground by walking around the perimeter of the pitch and out at the corner of the BBE / Riverside Taking in all the applause
