Here's an interesting start of an article about England's murder rate and how it appears the numbers lie:

Here is a discussion of crypto-anarchists:

And for the record, I think 3D printing is brilliant. It looks as if it will be massive boon to the world.

When kids, early 20s, teens shoot each other, that's what bothers me. Also these lone wolf shooters are almost always mid 20s or younger.

I worry more though about the Neo-Nazis out there, that is an interesting trial that's going to happen in Germany.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-22165242

If they didn't shoot a video showing they were proud of their work, I'm not sure if they would have been caught but I don't know the story that well. Tragic, horrible what they did. Sounds like the article also says the female involved in this shared a flat with two Neo-Nazis and those two males killed themselves.

I myself don't read German but it's easy to see this is a big story over there: http://www.bild.de/news/inland/nsu/mordanklage-25720208.bild.html

This trial is curious but I didn't want to splash out some thread with the words "Neo-Nazis" in the title. So, sorry if this is offtopic.

Yes, that's what the world needs, more readily available firearms.

I have no idea how 3D printing works, but I'd hope it could be put to more positive use than to more easily facilitate acquiring deadly weapons.

Half-wits.

Bryan it is the future. You will be amazed what will be bought over the internet in this fashion. The High St will soon be flats.

An interesting article. And he may well be correct. It is certainly true his credibility is intact as he acknowledged some potential deficiencies in his calculations.

What was unmentioned whether the UK data only counts the conviction rate as opposed to the occurrence rate.

6. If we're looking at people who use violence to ensure their international dominance then we should probably point the finger at the US before we look at the handful of violent acts committed outside of Muslim countries. Western attempts to manipulate Iran have led to the current situation there and that sordid affair was the primary reason for the sponsorship of Saddam Hussein's regime. Before you even attempt to defend America, explain what happened in Grenada to me, it's not just Muslims that suffer under Western brutality when they don't fall in line.

Here's an article discussing the most recent Muslim persecution of Christians- http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2013/05/07/mass-exodus-christians-from-muslim-world/

Very recent history is hardly the "handful of violent acts committed outside of Muslim countries." It would appear that extremist Muslim violence against Christians is more institutionalized than that, based on recent and historical events.

Not all Muslims engage in this violence, only a small minority.

Love the 'Religion of Peace', stoning and flogging rape victims, and now apparently calling for the death penalty for anyone who speaks ill of the Quran (sp?) back to the Middle Ages, idiots

Kinell! Thats me flerked then! I don't have a good word to say about such primitive tripe.
