I feel this may be a forgone conclusion and it may be two weeks earlier than usual but time for the BRFCS player of the season award

can we not have no player desrves to win it choice.

I think that's harsh when we have a bloke who has surpassed Matt Jansen's goal tally when we got promoted.

Hanley because of his improvement over the season and the fact that he has played with a bit of passion!

and I know Rhodes will win it............

I can add any more to the poll as requested but avoided a comedy option or a none of the above as it can distort things :)

Jordan Rhodes because without him we would be screwed. Simple as that. Kean Hanley and Dann have put in some top performances too, minus a couple of bad ones for Dann and Hanley. Not saying he's a contender for player of the season because he isn't but since returning for his second spell Todd Kane has looked a good little player.

OOops, I'll remove the comedy option again then :)

I voted Rhodes, obviously, but a big mention should go to Jake Kean as well. Having been thrust into the thick of it he's done an admirable job and stepped up well.

Grant Hanley for me.

Improved a lot and was an easy target for many fans, unfairly in my opinion.

He is a home grown player, young, can still grow a lot and deserves our full support.

Voted for Rhodes. THE stand-out player of our season. But 2nd place? Bloody hell that's tricky. Jake Kean, Dann and Hanley have had superb seasons.

Posted

probably will be rhodes, but my vote went to dann. took a lot of stick and has emerged out the other side and proven himself a top defender.

Couldn't agree more.

Dann must be some sort of sick joke saxo1man30 let me take you back you do know this is the same Dann who gifted charlton a goal at the valley because of a woefully short headed back pass or maybe the time at Blackpool from an easy diagonal how he hit the post almost gifting them a classic OG with Jake kean in goal or have you forgotten the time at Blackpool when a corner came in & Dann went missing gifting them a goal. Just because he has been made captain does not make him the new Messi. He has been far too inconsistent this season.

Dann? Season riddled with mistakes mixed with approx 5 decent games with a handful of goals doesn't mean he is worthy of a player of the season. Imo of course.

Posted

poor team organisation(under kean and berg) it`s what`s made our ENTIRE defence look poor at times this season, under eric black, appleton and bowyer(both spells) we`ve been organised better and seen what dann(and others) are all about.

Posted

Rhodes, special mention for Hanley.

Bowyer followed by Black.

Horrible season almost over, what horrors do the ignorant chicken morons have in store next.

How much will we get next season in money for being relegated from Premier League last year if we stay up this year?

I mean parachute payments?

In the absence of a Danny Murphy option, that does not allow me the opportunity of following in Rovers tradition of the player of the season exiting stage left with said trophy, my vote will be for the only player that has successfully completed his role. I.e. a striker (JR)scores goals.

Goal of the season...the very best moment at Ewood Park for quite a few years. How so very sad, that an injury time equaliser at home to Burnley is the best it's been for quite some while.
