It definitely appears to be some kind of internal error, it doesn't look like it was shot down. Horrific stuff though, stomach churning watching a huge thing like that just fall out of the sky and explode.

Thats unbeleivable. Was it ascending too fast? Looked very steep to me.

Normal exit procedure leaving Bagram. Just in case the Taliban have got their hands on some SAMs. Very steep climb out plus large cargo could equal what you see on the video. Just my speculation.

Apparently it was because of the cargo in the plane not being securely fastened or something.

Well I read that the other day at least.

Aircraft exit Bagram in a very steep climb to avoid any potential attack from the Taliban on the ground. That would obviously put a strain on poorly secured loads. The consequences are disastrous with no time or altitude to recover in.

Looks like a tragic accident to me. Makes me feel sick watching it, that fireball reminded me of United 175.
