Backroom DE. Posted May 4, 2013 Backroom Posted May 4, 2013 Local rivals? Fair enough, we're not much of a rival to them these days, but I still don't want them going up.
Josh Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 I hope Watford score now after the stupid folk from Yorkshire have ran onto the pitch, again
Gav Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Season over feck off venkys booooooooooooooI second that, and I hope several of the first team squad get the sh1ts on the beach this closed season, some of them are a disgrace to the profession.
Exiled in Toronto Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 whether it was bolton or whoever, a good manager appointment can do wonders Except win at home against a team with nothing to play for, managed by Paul Ince
donnermeat Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Fair enough, we're not much of a rival to them these days, but I still don't want them going up. I do, as much as it pains me to say, because they will be taking 6 points off us next season if they don't.
Gav Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 I hope Watford score now after the stupid folk from Yorkshire have ran onto the pitch, againNothing wrong with going on to the pitch at the end of the season, used to happen EVERY season at Ewood, and I for one wish it still did.
Backroom Tom Posted May 4, 2013 Backroom Posted May 4, 2013 Nothing wrong with going on to the pitch at the end of the season, used to happen EVERY season at Ewood, and I for one wish it still did. They ran on with two minutes left which delayed their penalty that they then missed Absolute idiots
yoda's brother Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Read the Rhodes thread and people are still having a pop at him. It's madness. not really with some of the "fans" we have on here
philipl Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 So we are on page 7 of a match thread 30 minutes after the FT whistle and no discussion of the match. Well done Venkys....
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Awful game, awful team and a very awful season. Just survived relegation..well done one and all
Backroom Mike E Posted May 4, 2013 Backroom Posted May 4, 2013 So we are on page 7 of a match thread 30 minutes after the FT whistle and no discussion of the match. Well done Venkys.... If we'd been in the relegation dogfight, it would've been a diff story, but instead we're all in the championship thread. I take your point Phil, but be careful what you wish for.
NH1875 Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 So we are on page 7 of a match thread 30 minutes after the FT whistle and no discussion of the match. Well done Venkys.... Sat in Bham New St waiting for train home. There wasn't a lot to say about the game. Brum edged 1st half, we improved late on. Felt like a friendly today.
Butty Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Rovers- Poor season. Dingles- One of the best seasons in the history of the club because they finished above us. Says it all!

philipl Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 What an absolutely steaming pile of crud that season was.
chaddyrovers Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Gary Bowyer comments after the game today http://audioboo.fm/boos/1370655
cesus Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 What an absolutely steaming pile of crud that season was. Yep, only Bristol City won less than us this season with 11 against our mighty 14!
Plastic Head Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 would love bolton to go up, shows what a good manager appointment can do "Are you local" as Tubbs would say, I hope they go bust before we do. Thank God we have Jordan Rhodes. For now
pontyrover Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 David Jones was brilliant today, second half much better in terms of approach and Stewart made a difference - surely he's better than King.
RevidgeBlue Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Today was always going to be like a training exercise. Hope those who travelled enjoyed the usual end of season festivities. Thank god for Rhodes. Hopefully his wage will stave off interest from other Championship Clubs in the summer and maybe Premiership Clubs will have the same misgivings as the critics on here - although I doubt it. No doubt it will be very difficult to get some other high earners off the wage bill but for me an absolute cull of our overblown squad is ideally required. I'd like to see a core of players something like Sandomierski, Kean, Kane Henley Morris Givet Hanley Dann Williamson Etuhu Jones Lowe Nunes Rochina Rhodes. The rest can all do one for me and then the new manager would have to try and be a lot more successful in the transfer market than we were this season.
Stuart Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Thank god for Rhodes. Hopefully his wage will stave off interest from other Championship Clubs in the summer and maybe Premiership Clubs will have the same misgivings as the critics on here - although I doubt it.Hopefully we'll be able to afford his wages!

Partly agree buy surprised you include "I never pass forward" Etuhu and "I play on my terms only" Givet.
