[Archived] Need help finding a particular rovers fan!

Hello everyone, my name is Sammy - I'm not a rovers fan but I come in peace, actually a Fulham fan and was at Ewood last season for the first time, loved the ground and atmosphere but was pretty @#/? off that we gifted you your first win in months. Also, sorry about Steve Kean - we also thought he was @#/?! Anyway, really need some help with something very random indeed!!

I present a radio show in Leeds called "They're going radio rental" - it is named after a quote I discovered whilst watching

on YouTube of a Fulham v Blackburn match in 2004. We use the clip of when the Blackburn fan says "They are going radio rental" all the time on the show and I would really like to find out who that particular fan is. He must be fairly well known within the rovers community after doing something like fanzone. Would just love to get in contact with him by email or over the phone as a segment within our last show. If you know this guy then either private message me on here or tweet if you prefer (@MrSammyJames) and I'd be very grateful.

This is a wild guess that is probably completely wrong but he does sound quite a bit like a bloke called Neil Yardley who was (dunno if he still is) a presenter on Radio Rovers. I'd get in touch with the board Admin and ask them, I think most of the people with an official/semi-official capacity at the club tend to know each other.

It's not Neil Yardley.

don't know but the fulham fan is Charlie. Used to love him whenever he was on, especially with his "Go, the Wardrobe!" calls

Neil Yardley's brother is on here, it's definitely not him. The current Rovers fanzone guy is called Benedict Pirraglia, it's not him but he may know who it is. You'll find him on Twitter.
