Will it? What, straight away? Or if it went on for a period of time? I'd suggest the latter - and they would act before that happened.

If we don't sell any season tickets this Summer then it's curtains.

They would sooner shut is down than sell us, imo, and the authorities don't give two @#/?.

What a despicable clown Shabby is. Makes all the sense in the world that this fool is our global advisor, considering his impressive CV from the footballing hotbed that is Malaysia. Utter Keanhead.

How have you come to that conclusion?

The flagrant disregard for the fans. The pride before all else attitude. The people they have put in charge of running ruining the club and whom they continue to support despite their obvious failings. Their apparent lack of ability to see what's happening before their eyes (it was only a couple of weeks ago, the play-offs were still being mooted, FFS).

In my eyes, we are just another agenda item in their monthly board meetings. We matter no more and no less than their Brazilian factory, imo.

If we continue to lose money and have no hope of reaching the PL - where the money conveyor-belt will simply start again - then I reckon they will stop funding the losses. I wouldn't be surprised if we end up in a Pompey-Chanrai situation where the club is held to ransom over a stupid fee for the club or Ewood.

this all reminds of a programme on c.i i watched last night, it was about a mobster who got too big for his boots and shot his mouth off to the media, just went around doing things that brought unwanted attention to his associates, he was mental, i think he was called 'mad sam' defestano, eventually the mobsters decided to hire someone close to him and had him whacked, i wish we had someone who could do that to singh!!!

Interesting words from Singh there.

Makes you wonder what he advises the owners then, being the official 'Global Advisor' of the club.

Interested in reading a response from the group looking to buy the club and also the other group, who up until now have been bed buddies with him...

Rovers just don't have the diehard support to take the fight to Venky's. The majority of the fans are the mealy-mouthed types who are happy to go through the motions instead of making a stand against the criminals who have occupied what was once a community club.

He really is a tool isn't he??

Shaw and Agnew on the ropes, the fanbase generally getting their heads around other individuals who have and still are dismantling the club and the strategic media releases undermining 'darker forces'

All he had to do was stay out of the media and shut the @#/? up. But no, not good old Shebby, has to come out and remind the world how great a nobhead he is.

It's just ridiculous how these people can be employed, never mind employed at my once well respected club.

Credit where credits due, I try to be a c??t as best I can but this guy knocks me into a cocked hat.

The guy ain't even trying though. He's effortless. Must be the company he keeps.

How can this tosser, visa aside (yeah right), ever show his stupid face at Ewood again?

The best article we have seen for some time from an outside journalist

Agree with that. Attitudes are changing in the media at last. Enjoyed the reference to he who can't be named for legal reasons. They clearly know what's been going on.

Excellent article MrT.

Shebby's comments are so pantomime villain, I wonder if they are there to deflect attention from something else.

Very perceptive article by Dean Jones... It shows how much the media know about the goings on at our club, but perhaps can't spill the beans

Its becoming like the Savile affair. Lots know but dare not speak out.

The Stasi still have their whores peddle the party line on Sky but theyre starting to look dirty by association.

It's taken long enough but puppets like Charlie (apt name) Nicholas are becoming discredited. I just wish more people could join the dots as to the reasons why people like him are so biased.

i have to ask, what sort of money could the supporters trust offer venky`s to take the club off their hands? i`ve heard around a couple of million. why the kean would venkys cut their losses to such an extent? and even if they did, where would the money come from to pay wages of players/manager/coaching set up/club employees etc when all the money the trust had available would have been spent on purchasing the club?

it`s a nice sentiment from these fans, but ultimatly totally unrealistic. shebby is right in some ways.

The Trust aren't the only option. The two Ian's seem to have access to funds that could make them available option, but who would take on a business spunking £2M per month?

yeah but i doubt they have anything like the 40 odd million plus venkys have put in to the club to purchase/pay off debt/buy players/sustain wages. sorry, but in my eyes, like it or not, venkys are still our best bet. the situation ain`t good and there`s A CHANCE the club could end up in the lower leagues under them, but under the likes of the trust or the two ians, with no money available to pay players of any quality at all, it would be a certainty.

we are NOT in a pompey situation, but the actions of some supporters could be putting us in danger of being.

Fair points.

Who knows what the future holds, but we are in a very bad place just now. Probably as bad as any time during the 36 years I have followed BRFC
