martonrover Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Hope Mr Singh doesn't have his eyes on a position on the board... If they put Shebby on the Board the feel good factor of the last few weeks will disappear.
Majiball Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Surely shebby's absense speaks volumes? I don't think he'll be returning to Ewood.

RoverScot Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Shebby hasn't really done anything since trying to get Macdonald and Ali in as coaches at Christmas - apart from the Appleton sacking. I doubt he is coming back.

But sometimes in life things just don't work out for what ever reasons, it happens all things do but ya know perhaps not this time. You see I'm one circle and shelfman is another circle and only magicians can links circles and I'm no magician. Although I am very good at making things dissappear but that doesn't make me a magician, ya know. Derek is a lovely chap but our circles can't be linked as we're different circles and not magicians, but it's good to have different circles as variety is the spice of life as I'm always telling Madame. I like her circles, they're firm. Mmmmm.
onlyonejackwalker Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Its not long since that Shebby was spouting off in the press, seemingly on behalf of the club. I don't think we have seen the back of him yet. I should imagine he more than most at the club is quite pally with the Venky's. Singh Out. Shaw Out.

Majiball Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 easy on the beer and sun, Maj! It's the madness from yet another 7 day week. I've forgotten what beer is...
Stuart Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 It's the madness from yet another 7 day week. I've forgotten what beer is... It's that stuff that makes Scotsmen's arms shorter.
Majiball Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 LOL, nice Stuart. Surprised Keano has any arms left.

(if it happens)
chaddyrovers Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Bye bye Shebby Singh. Not before time personally. but who this new potential CEO going to be tho? will Shaw be going shortly aswell? Are Venkys finally starting to run the club properly? its looking like it.
tomphil Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/football-league/shebby-singh-set-for-axe-as-blackburn-rovers-finally-get-serious-8667717.html Shebby set for axe ! http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/blackburn_rovers/news/10499426.Singh_future_uncertain_as_Venky_s_make_progress_on_chief/?ref=twt Oh please let this be true, bye bye Shebby..... it's been emotional !
T.J.Newton Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I wonder who the venkys are taking advise on these big issues from these days if it isn't shabby, agnew or 'he who shall not be named'?
Guest Norbert Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Perhaps the FA has had a word with Venky's about getting the house in order, just so some awkward questions are quietly dropped. Hence Agnew going, Shebby possibly going, and so sign of them bringing Anderson back on board.

That would make sense, perhaps a quiet word has been spoken firmly into some ears, with an 'or else' at the end of it. We can only hope
saxo1man30 Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 absolutly crucial departure if the club is to move forward and be taken seriously again..
Stuart Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Let's not get too carried away. "Significantly, Venkys are believed to have given indications that Singh will not be involved in football affairs at the club." He's not meant to be involved in that side of things anyway so it doesn't mean they won't continue to have him around for 'global advice'. "He remains in India and is understood to have indicated that he is unaware of any changes that would affect his own position at the club." Mealy-mouthed words but still making a story out of a 'no comment' scenario. We need Singh and Shaw gone but we certainly need a credible replacement that the fans can support. I remain to be convinced that this will happen.
