There isn't a club in world football where everything doesn't seem better than it was in the fallow months between one season ending and the next beginning

That's the time when fancy talk doesn't have to be matched by results and when every signing is hailed as the man who'll transform your fortunes - remember the YouTube frenzy that transformed lightweight no-hoper Carlos Villeneuva into a coming Maradona?

Totally agree Meadows!!

Think Shabby's honeymoon will end when players come back in next week.So far its been him on the front foot dictating the discussions without too much opposition. Can you imagine the change in atmosphere when a load of very irritated footballers , facing 40% wage cuts rock up next week all wanting out.The mood change will be obvious and trying to tell Venkys that all their little babies want away from this shambles they have created here will not go down well.Thats when the cracks will appear and it becomes stark reality that nobody wants to be here and be in Coco's gang.

I do think that any person in management worth their salt would come into a company and assess the staff personally before making far reaching decisions. I do wonder about the motivation of some posters on here and agendas. Give shebby Singh time to look, speak, watch and review before he is tagged as a puppet.

I’m all for people having an alternative view point, it’s what makes this site tick over for many, but I really do have to take issue with this nonsense. What makes you think Singh has the capacity to carry out this role? Is this not the man involved in scouting players of facebook? Is this not the man who only a few weeks ago was calling for the manager’s head? Is this not the man who is now publically backing the manager because they’ve put him on the payroll?

“Give him time to look, speak ,watch and review” - the mans a puppet, thats been demonstrated by his u-turn on Kean, what more evidence do you need?

Hi

I am beginning to wonder a few things

1. We know Shabbys true opinions of baldy (i cant say his name - leaves too much of an after taste)

2. We know baldy has always been in a position to just give his version of events etc to the powers that be. Shabby changes this

3. If Venkys want to be able to avoid paying to much to baldy if they get rid they need lots of evidence (although the number of wins etc you would think is enough proof).

4. Shabby will surely speak to a lot of pretty disgruntled players. Could be enlightening if baldy has been saying that he didnt have enough influence on who was signed.

5. We have started (I use this with a great deal of caution) to see some changes in how they do things already ie attempts at getting in players early. maybe this is evidence of Shabby changing things.

6. Makes you wonder if baldys days are numbered IF shabby has real power an authority.

As previously mentioned a million times it doesnt take a marketing genius to realise that getting rid of kean and having a fresh start would just give a fresh hope to the fans and boost sales no end.

Shebby should look at this as a defining point in his appointment - albeit as new he is to the role - just sack him. If he is well up on his research he should look back to what happened last time we went down. Kidd stayed incharge, ballsed up the start of the season. Got tanked and we struggled to finish tenth with souey rebuilding. Next year straight up no problem with a proper manager.

Why do we need to waste the first 6 months of the season, wait for the inevitable poor results and sack him at xmas (if that is even possible) it will be too late for any manager to turn it around, and will fall another year behind the prem teams. Sort it out now - only option for me

Cement your position by getting the company demoted, losing it millions and alienating its entire customer base

Nice work if you can get it.

Exactly. Only in Venky World could you cement your position over 18 months by being a complete failure.

I don't think he was the fellow scouting players on Facebook. That was Vineeth Rao wasn't it?

Had a very interesting conversation with a reliable source. Allegesky there are people at the club (I'll let you guess who) that are not happy at the power that Shebby has and the way he is going about communicating with all stakeholders, was not part of their plan.

POWERSTRUGGLE.

If we're talking about the same people, then I'll +1 your post.

I'm not going to get to hung up on Shaw, Agnew Shebby etc.. the fact is there is more of a management structure in place now than there ever has been under Venkys. Communication has already improved so fingers crossed we are heading in the right direction.

Andy Cryer tweeted this...

It appears as tho derek will be looking after more non football matters, with p agnew. Shebby overseeing it all - int in tmrws lt

Well besides the perfect management structure that was in place when they took over which they smashed to bits. They did then actually relace some of them with competent people but coco by passed them all and Pune just ignored them. Whats to say this will be any different ?

Looks to me that Agnew's won the power struggle = bad news. I was warming to Shebby

I too am warming to Shebby; he's a total loose cannon which makes a nice change from the stream of Kean acolytes, plus, from what I understand, he does not seen totally dependent on Venky's so has less to lose in doing what he thinks is right. Good luck to him, he's the only one so far who is even vaguely likeable

We know our opinion is of little concern to the chicken farmers but if there is a strained relationship between Singh and the fat bald monkey then the fans need to make it clear who they are behind. Everything that hurts kean helps the club. I include paper cuts in this arguement.
