glen9mullan Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Hindsight is a wonderful thing Sorry, but you don't have access to this forum sign up and possibly get spammed again?? Any links that don't need registrations? Sorry no, the minutes are put out for our members benefit and are in the members section of the website.
Andy Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Calling 50%+ of rovers fans Gobshytes because they dont share your opinoin of sam allardyce, nice guy you are! He is right though.
Rover_Shaun Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Sorry no, the minutes are put out for our members benefit and are in the members section of the website. Aren't we all fans??
glen9mullan Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Aren't we all fans?? We certainly are, but whichever way we do things we get opposition, if we put them out to everyone we get acccused of not representing the views of some sections of the supporter base. So when it comes to minutes of meetings, we make them available to members who elected us as a committee as they elected us to be their voice. The way we do minutes will change also in the next couple of weeks when our 2012/2013 membership scheme is launched
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 but plenty realised there was only one way we would be going - and it couldn't possibly be up could it. Pretty obvious we could only go one way. At the point Sam was sacked - how exactly did people know this ? Nobody knew the money they did or didn't have - or who they were going to replace Sam with
den Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 At the point Sam was sacked - how exactly did people know this ? Nobody knew the money they did or didn't have - or who they were going to replace Sam with People were guessing that there would be money available. Makes that judgement even worse doesn't it? Got that wrong as well.
Sparky Marky Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 At the point Sam was sacked - how exactly did people know this ? Nobody knew the money they did or didn't have - or who they were going to replace Sam with Here we go again.....
Baz Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Minutes released on our members forum of the BRFC Action Group meeting with Shebby Singh (24/07/12) This is just a list of points made by BRAG, what was said in response to each point?
47er Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 At the point Sam was sacked - how exactly did people know this ? Nobody knew the money they did or didn't have - or who they were going to replace Sam with With Andy Cole saying It was "common knowledge" in football circles, I think your logic doesn't hold.
Steve Moss Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Calling 50%+ of rovers fans Gobshytes because they dont share your opinoin of sam allardyce, nice guy you are! I'm curious. Where do you get your stat that 50%+ of Rovers fans wanted Sam sacked? On the issue of Shebby Singh, I hope he sacks Kean ASAP and appoints Curbishley.
Andy Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 I think it would have been closer to 5% than 50% who didn't like Sam, despite the fantastic job he did (and was still doing). Unfortunately just a very vocal 5%...
Mattyblue Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 It was certainly more than 5% that 'disliked' him, but I don't think even that many actively wanted him sacked. Or am I putting too much faith in the judgement of my fellow fan?
Jimmy612 Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 It was certainly more than 5% that 'disliked' him, but I don't think even that many actively wanted him sacked. Or am I putting too much faith in the judgement of my fellow fan? The amount of arguments I had about Allardyce! My mate used to sit there and reel off names of managers he'd rather have, not one of whom had a record anywhere near as good as him! I can't understand why people can't appreciate how good his record actually is. What he did with Bolton was arguably just as good, if not better than what Curbishley did at Charlton, yet he doesn't seem to get the same plaudits. The media have really stunted his career imo!
Jimmy612 Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 *jumps in his time-machine to save Sam* I guess you celebrated that night then?
Mike Graham Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 It was certainly more than 5% that 'disliked' him, but I don't think even that many actively wanted him sacked. Or am I putting too much faith in the judgement of my fellow fan? no, it was 1% and he had 500 letters of support every day!
Backroom trueblue Posted August 3, 2012 Backroom Posted August 3, 2012 If there are any more posts in this thread about Sam Allardyce the poster will get a spell on the sidelines!
Teacup Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Does anyone remember which transfers Shebby was involved with in the past? For some strange reason, I seem to remember his name floating around during one of the transfer windows.
Baz Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 This is just a list of points made by BRAG, what was said in response to each point? Anyone?
patrickvalery Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Perhaps shebby was lost for words? Suppose there's a first time for everything.
Paul Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 This is just a list of points made by BRAG, what was said in response to each point? That is always the problem
