He'd need a core of hard-working, physically strong and determined players to at least get his style of football started.

We've got very few of those and that'd be before he'd want to bring his own players in.

Imagine our squad trying to replicate Stoke's style? It'd be horrific watching us trying to outmuscle other teams, we barely match up to teams as it is.

Is Pullis still with the agency that can not be named? No doubting he's done a good job with Stoke but be very surprised if he came here unless he fancies a very big challenge.

Still stranger things have happened , and with the delay announcing Bowyer as manager and Snake on holiday apparently, makes you wonder

He is with SEM. The big three SEM clients of Kean, Coyle and Pulis were all Premier League managers last year. Two relegations and a near relegation later - now they aren't.

He's overrated, anyway. How much did he spend at Stoke? Something like £80m in five years at Stoke and what do they have to show for it? And their style of play is still as anti-football as ever. I'll say this for Allardyce, at least he could get us into mid-table without spending stupid money.

How much did he spend in the Championship though?

no thanks.

done a great job at Stoke but don't want him here.

wouldn't play to Rhodes strengths and doesn't develop young talented players from Academy.

this is what we need a manager to do.

just played 1 way which is Long ball football to a big target man

We are in dire straits Stuart and looking at yet another wet behind the ears rookie

What I meant was there's no chance he will come or that Venkys would approach him.

We just need to sign Bowyer up and 'move on'.

In fairness, not much. Not saying he isn't a good manager at this level, but he's spent a king's ransom to make Stoke an unattractive, mid-table side. It's all academic, because he wouldn't touch Rovers with a barge pole.
