Anybody else think it could be Vicente? Think he's left Brighton, and on pay as you Play could be another decent attacking option...

That was my first thought as well. Would be a good signing as he would give us a bit more flair which in midfield which I think is something we are desperately lacking.

Vicente wouldn't be able to operate as a winger anymore.

I'd move him inside as a creative midfielder so if we sign him and someone who knows how to tackle in the middle of the park we could be on the right track.

Just been reading Nicko's tweets. Apparently the spanish trialist has gone back (he didn't impress), Songo'o likely to sign, and a first team player wants out (not Rhodes).

He was also asked about the Barry Bannan to Rovers rumour and his response was:

"Was a possible couple of weeks back. Available. But not moved on yet"

Bannan would be an excellent signing. Good age and has bags of ability on the ball. We should make a double swoop on Villa for Bannan and Albrighton.

It Was said that Banan Was a party boy and we didnt want to Sign him.

My guess at the first teamer who wants out is Rpchina

I think a few on here have already said Bannan is trouble.

I wouldn't. Think man management is one of the riskier areas of having an inexperienced manager - as there is a huge difference between being the top boss and an assistant/coach/reserve team management.

What we need is a central midfielder with energy - ideally a box to box player. We've enough water carriers, and hopefully a team built around Rochina, with the likes of Judge, Nunes and King could provide the flair. The problem is we don't have enough forward energy in the center of midfield. Was thinking a Steven Reid type player (from his time at Rovers) would be ideal.

Alternatively in a 4-2-3-1 system we could go a much more attacking midfielder/winger to be part of the 3. However have reservations about our strikers playing up front alone.

Borja Valero? The same guy who played 37 games for Fiorentina last season? No chance.

Merida is a pretty good shout though but at this stage it could be anyone.

I reckon the player wants out is either Rochina or Dann.

Songo'o very likely to sign if/when Givet goes.

Bannan would be very good signing but Makey 11 said over the weekend that Rovers look and move on after finding out about problems.

My guess would be fran Merida, was very highly rated at arsenal.

I don't think. currently playing football in Brazil

AJW you read my mind like a book.

My 3 guesses are Xabi Alonso, Luis Garcia & Albert Riera all technically good players good passers not the best of engines but passing wise very good.
