No, the agent simply wants too much money.... If you consider that an agent normaly wants 5-10% of a deal and this plank is asking for nearly 50%....

It's about time the club grew a pair and stood up to the gold digging agents! If you pay one that they all expect it, span this over 10 more deals and you've suddenly spent a lot of money.

That is the reason for the hold up. Nothing else.

They did offer him higher wages yes. Thats unfortunately how it is sometimes.

In what way did we lie about it? We agreed a deal with him, he was aware of interest from other Clubs and went away to think about it then Leeds offered him more money.

Songo'o is Givet replacement basically so hopefully we can get rid of Givet.

Sullivan probably needs playing minutes so that's why. Lowe will defo start on Sunday and he will be regular starter under Bowyer.

I thought I said last night FFS!!! but I will say again. Pedersen signed a new contract worth up to 50k a week but John Williams was here and he always insert a relegation wage drop clause(usually 40 to 50&% wage drop) into all players contracts when he was Chairman under the Walker trust. so he will be on 25 to 30k(around 1.5 million pounds a season) a week now. that's is why Rovers would probably like to get rid of him to save the money. His contract is up at the end of the season btw. I hope we can get rid of him even just on loan for a season would help reduce our wage bill

Pedersen makes far more of a contribution than the likes of Lowe Marrow Taylor Morris could ever dream of with just one cross, one corner or one shot.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Murphy was offered just £2k a week more (I'm sure he wanted to say "But thats 2k more than Blackburn offered") so Rovers put a statement on the website saying it "was much more than that honest guv". (agnew was still around remember)

Either way Leeds showed Murphy that they wanted him (by locking him away in a hotel) whereas our bunch of clueless amateurs (Bowyer included) let him wander off into the night while they fiddled. hence I take the agent rumours with a massive massive pinch of salt.

I see it as Rovers are Bannan's "last resort" and he's using this as a "come and get me plea" to clubs higher in the pyramid with a professional club structure and vision. I'd even wage he'd rather see his Villa contract out than come to Circus Ewood........but I have been known to be wrong
