I don't think it is unrealistic for us to expect a big name signing. We went in for bannan and spearing who are both big names at this level.

However, just because they are not a big name doesn't mean they are no good.

Powell nearing a loan move to Watford allegedly.

That would be annoying, he's a Northern kid (relatively) and he must live in Cheshire now. Can't we do some convincing

However, just wondered what the craic is with Spurr? Some saying he's signed, some saying he's due for a medical. Anyone know for sure or is it just a 'wait & see' situation?

When is the deadline to sign anyone by to be ilegible to play on Sunday??? Also has Spurr signed yet? Think he will be a steady LB (More than Martin was for almost all last season).
