Really frustrating news about Rochina,

4-5 months months for a dislocated shoulder seems excessive to me,

as soon as he's back the January window will be opening and all the speculation around him wanting away will start again,

by the time we actually start to get the best out this player his contract will be in its final season and we wont get a penny for him.

No... I think it will go to supplementing the rest of the high earners wages for the year. We can't grumble too much, we are where we are now and we have to cut or cloth accordingly. Killgallon was an excellent replacement on a free, we could easily have spent money on someone to replace Dann but I think we are well stocked atm with Killa and Hanley as first teamers and givet and the young boys in tow, don't forget Spurr can also deputise at centre half.

Songo'o in. Suspect Dann will be on his way very shortly.

Rumours that Fulham have put in a £5m bid. Kilgallon was brought in as Dann's replacement.

With Dann and Givet likely to leave, surely we'll need another centre half. Kilgallon replaces Dann, Songo'o replaces Givet, Spurr replaces Olsson, who replaces Henrique?

If Fulham are willing to buy Dann for 5 mil then I would sell. bring in a loan Centre back or cheap one and another Striker on loan to Christmas to cover after Rochina and DJ injures.

Plus we need to use that money to get rid of players who we don't need like Givet, Orr, etc

If we can sell Dann for 5 mill and re-invest (after shifting deadwood) in a creative midfielder then I'd be happy. Hanley, Songo and Kilagallon are all capable. Perhaps another CB just to be sure.

Just a side note, who's thinking Songo is going to be on peanuts? Considering he's only 21 played in america on loan. Would be surprised if it was more than 5k a week.

we got Cairney who is a midfield playmaker so no need for another on.

Got a good feeling about Songo`o. We've done our homework on him and seems like he's got all the qualities to be a good centre half.

If Dann goes, we simply have to get another centre half in. Kilgallon is injury prone and songo`o is untested. I would suggest a loan move for one of the United youngsters would be on the cards. The guy who was on loan at Leicester from Utd last year was a good player. Don't think we'll sign anyone permanently for that position as we have two young good centre halves coming through.

Need another striker as well plus a winger. Wouldn't surprise me if we sign Bannan still. He can play on the wing and in CM. Would free up King to be a front man.

No way will Bowyer go back in for Bannan. he had his chance to come and he didn't. we don't need another winger when we got four of them atm.

I would look to sign Michael Keane on loan from Man U. he's a centre back who was on loan at Leicester City last season.

any truth in the billy sharp rumours?

Hmm i think it is pretty obvious that the money will be used to help us avoid financial ruin and quite rightly so in my opinion.

Not sure Utd would send us a loanee if he is going to be 3rd choice?

Personally think we have enough options to cover rochinas abscence but short of taraabt i don't think anyone can give us exactly what he does :(

Are you joking, he was abysmal last year for us. Bentley has been finished as a player since he left us for Spurs.

The shoulder is a very complex joint with various types of dislocation.

Think this is the second time that Rochina has dislocated and each time, more damage is done with the ligaments weakening and often the cartilage tearing from the bone.

Operation involves a lot of 'surgical work' especially for a sportsman and post operative is very painful and he faces six weeks in a sling (even sleeping in it for the first few weeks). It will be a long road back and there are no guarantees.

Now that RR Is injured .. Think Rovers should up there intrest in Ex Rochdale Star Will Buckley...

Fits the GB profile ... Can play on either wing or behind the Struker ... Wonderful player IMHO

The Bulgarian player would also be a good replacement ... Plays accross the line

Can't see us affording what Brighton would want for Buckley but if we could get him would be a top signing.
