so qpr signing scott parker, forest trying to bring in vaz te and sako, every team doing some good business but we have marrow and lowe so what we got to worry about, long season ahead

Fulham are also interested in Parker so not guaranteed that he is QPR at present, but agree that teams are doing some fantastic business.

http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/10610772.No_bids_for_Blackburn_Rovers_star_Jordan_Rhodes/

is it just me or does this just say come on make us an offer we can refuse , why keep bringing it up ?

Have to agree with you.

Why not just say 'not for sale'?

Some pretty shoddy journalism in the LT over last couple of days.

Yesterday an incorrect and misleading headline that Kane wanted to sign permanently and today the LT has already decided Hanley and Rhodes are available for Friday night's game.

Not if they get injured.

Rovers should never have agreed to play on Friday due to the timing of the international game.

but we also have cairney, Evans and Williamson to come in. Don't understand why people keep saying have to sign someone. Lowe and marrow will most likely be back up

Like who? Mick McCarthy was on tv the other day stating how little money there was in the Championship, and how most signnings this summer have been freebies. He's right. Apart from Qpr (Samba & Prem money) Wigan (Kone & Prem money) Waford (pretend money) there has been very little spent.

Doesn't mean just because there is little money involved that there's not been good signings made. Although you are right in as much as the days of big transfer fees seem to be diminishing at this level. But even restricted to frees and smaller fees some clubs have done some very good business - Reading, Bolton and Ipswich seem to have strengthened well to name but three.

What people don't understand is that bad buys last summer have left us in a position where we're have to make the signings we should have made then, now.

Rather than buying what is deemed as Prem talent we should have immediately gathered a squad of hard working, Championship players. We didn't.

Now we're having to make that step now and with all the useless players we have in the squad we can't afford to strengthen with big money signings till we get the wage bill down. Thanks FFP!

We must ship out the deadwood in this window and then in January then next Summer if the owners still want to spend money we will have to strengthen ourselves properly then.

Haven't Forest spent a fair amount. From memory they have signed Mackie, Wilson and Hobbs must have cost several million.

Forest have spent well ... Like Billy always does

Wilson £2.5 Million

Jack Hobbs £1 million

Jamie Mackie... £1 million

2m euros on Djamel Abdoun.

I noticed you posted a pic of Fomica on twitter arriving in Mexico. Hopefully he will pass the medical this time.

Are we waiting on him going before we get a striker in ?
