Attacking mid is kind of a forward I guess?

Anyone from Hearts worth getting? The entire squad is up for sale. Andy Webster could be a good Dann replacement.

They have a few promising youngsters worth having a look at if any scouts can be bothered. I saw them against St Mirren at the end of the season and they were superb with a really young side.

Driver was good about 3 years ago but has gone backwards since then and wasn't getting a game before he went out on loan. I presume Wilson will be back on the market now as well as they haven't officially signed him so he'll be available from Liverpool and he is decent at full back.

Classic tale of a club being taken over by foreign owners with promises of success and being driven into a financial mire....where have you heard that before? At least they have a couple of cups to show for Romonov's calamitous reign.

They did throw away a really promising position in the league, as well, ISTR. Didn't they sack a manager who had them at the top of the league (and playing well) and they then suffered a huge drop off in form?

yes, started with about 10 wins on the bounce under George Burley and then sacked him. More to it than football allegedly. Went on to employ Graham Rix and finish 2nd and win cup. That was about 5 years ago. Played some wonderful football that season as well.

Didn't Murphy replace Parker at Charlton?

Would be good to see the opposite at Rovers! :tu:

Be very surprised if we bring in anyone of that pedigree though - unless it's a loan.

Our squad will be Youth and League One experience, couple of loans, and anyone who we can't shift. I'm still not holding my breath over Jones.

Rovers Centre Back Ryan Edwards is being linked with Newcastle and Aston Villa in today's Sunday People.

We need to keep Edwards.

Also got O'Connor and O'Connell coming through so our Academy seems to be producing good young centre backs.

no chance is Parker coming here. linked with Sunderland yesterday's papers and QPR would like him aswell according to several newspaper reports.

Don't think they will be anymore signings apart from Jones until we get rid of some like Murphy, Pedersen, Martin Olsson, Robinson, etc

To be fair, Sandro was first choice, then got injured, leading to Parker getting back in the side. He was very much 'Arry's man. Spuds aren't short of options in cm anyway.

It's horse dung at any rate. No chance Parker will drop down a division to come here, especially not in a World Cup year.

He's not good enough at passing for a Champions League or wannabe Champions League team imo. Sandro is definitely a better player.

Anyway, no chance he's coming to the Championship. A load of Prem teams would want him.
