the article says that's Wigan have made an approach for Rhodes and Rovers will want around 10 million for Rhodes and he could be tempted in the move.

also says in same players that Best could be leaving aswell. he had a bust-up about being left out of the team. Best was shocked to be ignored by Gary Bowyer after doing well off the bench and had words after the defeat at Doncaster last week.

Also says Bowyer is trying to thrash out a 1 million deal with Leicester for winger Ben Marshall.

Disagree that we should sign Wells Chaddy. Good pacy striker but wouldn't compliment Rhodes, nor replace him as he is not a lone striker.

I thought Rhodes was excellent today in terms of his link up play, the 4-2-3-1/4-4-1-1 formation worked very well, with Dunn playing very well in the hole.

We cannot afford to sell Rhodes. I would replace him with Becchio and sign 1/2 wingers if we got a massive offer from a Premier League team, but to be honest we can't afford to sell him now.

I think Wells could give us something different up front. Becchio is a good shout tbh.

Best going wouldn't bother me too much. Although we'd need another striker with physical presence, bar the goal against Derby he's hardly set the world alight.

Interesting if we get in another winger - is he admitting Judge, Taylor and King aren't up to it? Personally I believe the latter two aren't 1st choice for on the wing due to lack of pace and end product respectively, whilst Judge struggles on the left, but would look much better on the right where he doesn't have to cut back so much. Or perhaps he's thinking of moving Judge into the hole?

If we keep Rhodes, we should play him in a system similar to yesterday. We also have Campbell as an option, so we should sign a bigger striker on loan like Becchio if we can shift Best(unlikely). Paying big money on Wells would be stupid. Any money should be spent on a wideman.

If the club really are looking for a few quid and to get rid of some big earners then i'd start with Best. A million pound fee and rid of his wages would be the way forward. One decent goal but some terrible and uninterested performances from a way over rated guy.
