[Archived] possible transfer targets summer 2013

Reliable source Jim W is telling me we've signed a player. Name and position to be revealed soon.

If Jim W says it's true then there's a very good chance that it actually IS true.

Loan or permanent?

Think it's inevitable that lots of transfer business done in last part of window.

However, hope Rovers don't fall in trap, as other windows, of leaving it too late to bring decent players in and we are left scraping the barrel.

If any key players are going to be sold, or have to be sold, think it's best done now rather than next Monday.

We are already scraping the barrel mercer, look at our business done so far in the window :(

Yep, much like how we scraped the barrel at the end of the window last summer, when we signed Jordan Rho...oh wait.

Jim Wilkinson. Local journalist who is better known as "Blue Eyed Boy" - good mate of Andy Cryer...

Still waiting for more info from Jim.

He's not often wrong, but that's all I can give you at present.

I'm not pretending to be ITK - he puts all this on Twitter.

Does he rate this particular player?

Remember Bowyer talking about utilising the Man Utd relationship he was looking to put in place, wonder if any loan deals could be forthcoming....

Just a shame we have staff completely out of their depth, whether it be in the boardroom or on the football side.

Hang on, I thought Etuthu was brought in to replace Grella? And if he was then fair play. I can't even remember how to spell his name anymore.

I'm not really too sure about this lad either to be honest. Didn't he score a screamer against Man City or someone not so long ago?

Edit - it was against Chelsea. Just seen it on youtube. Can't post a link on my phone but it would seem he has scored a few special goals from distance.

What sort of competitive advantage does this lad bring to the team and who is his agent for that kind of fee.

Marshall is very similar type of player to Bentley. good crosser of the ball, got skills and good at set pieces.

I couldn't get a toss who his agent is. why does this matter now??? This is Bowyer signing IMO.

Whilst there will never be 100% trust (or probably even 50%+) while Venkys are here, it's fast becoming a catchphrase of JAL's when we are linked with any player.

This is what the Leicester fans think of him. Seems to be that thye think he is the most technically gifted player in the their squad but doesn't show it often enough. Massive confidence player. Some blame Pearson for him not playing better and I think he can be coached to be an important player. Hardworking too
