Would Shaw actually be useful if we did want to link up with man united? I have no idea if he and Moyes got on or whether they were at Preston at the same time, anyone know?

Zaha would do for a start :)

I'd prefer Van Persie.

I was under the impression that he appointed Moyes.

Think Laurence would be a decent addition to our squad at this level. Saw Jamie O'Hara's name touted earlier, he's not liked too much around here in Wolves and was spouting off in the paper about being premier league quality etc. Avoid like plague imo.

Nick Powell would be a good edition and that striker that was at Wigan last season.

A mid table PL club will take Powell. Someone like Fulham or West Brom. Either of the Keanes or Tunnicliffe might do

Also, it'll make sense for United to send Henriquez back to Wigan since he'd get a bit of European experience as well

Apparently Lee Cattermole is set to be released from Sunderland. Although his disciplinary record isn't the best I'd love him here, would definitely get stuck in and do a job in the middle.

If that's the case then I think it's 100% nailed on that he will go to Hull, seen as Bruce took him to Wigan and then Sunderland.

After that in the telegraph my first thought is Gallagher, rovers fan and would work hard and has a good final ball.

Wouldn't surprise me, in the dressing room at the legends game he was saying how much that he would love to come back here.

Off topic but saw him at a couple of Rovers games last season. Likewise Andy Proctor is a regular. It's good to see professional footballers watching the team they support in their spare time
