[Archived] possible transfer targets summer 2013

Recommended Posts

I know that, you know that, does GB???

One aspect I am wondering about with the annoucement of a potential DoF is perhaps GB is struggling to attract players?

Could be a good shout.

But.

Without getting shot of some expensive expired oak how would we fund any of the DOF's targets?

True perhaps they want someone in who is experienced at these things to do that asap to free up funds? This will all be rather new and alien to GB leaving to do what he does best. If they don't see and think about soccer in the same way though,it'll be as productive as Kinnear and Pardew's will be.

he goes to Passerinis, that's the most shocking thing i've heard all summer(do they still have the walls covered in porn in there?)

Haha, I know it's a dump, but there ain't many barbers on bburn town centre and who wants to go to a hairdressers? That's a girls territory.

He was terrible on loan at Sheffield Wednesday last season. He got loads of stick from there fans then went on twitter and abused them all. I'd steer clear of him.

I personally don't think we will add to the strikers unless he can offload Gomes and or goodwille.

He was a total cckend. Absolute waste of money, no effort, no heart and only in it for the money.

dozens of mans barbers around Blackburn, don't expect anything other than slight variations of short back and sides from any of them though(if it cant be done with the clippers, then it cant be done).

Now Stephen Warnock, there is the definition of a utility player and one that id love to see back(think he only recently signed for leeds though)

But when you live in darwen, but need a quick cut on your dinner break in bburn, passerinis is the place! Cheap as chips and quick! Plus bburn is a dump I don't want to be venturing further than the town centre.

Anyway, onto football matters, Warnock is now a has been Newton.

Warnock makes more sense. Depends on wages.

Warnock signed a 2 and half years contract at Leeds last January.

Would be a good signing and is utility type of player Bowyer is after.

Cant see Gallagher being this player that LT is linking us with.

I just by chance went into a barbers in the right in centre of darwen town centre a couple of years ago that was pretty good, don't know the name, it was run by a women, its on the corner of a street on the main road!

**News flash**Warnocks a has been, zzzzzzzzzzzz

p.s. A Darrener calling Blackburn a dump :lol::lol: :lol: :lol::lol:

p.p.s. I only really brought Warnocks name up as a definition of a 'utility player'(in my book)

I think people are reading too much into the "a player's fans can relate to" comment from Bowyer. I don't necessarily think it means an ex rovers player, think it just means a player who will give his all. Bowyer is alluding to the fact many players didn't give 100% throughout the whole of last season.

Could be James Perch from Newcastle - can't decide if he's any good...?

Another twitter rumour which may or may not be true but Perch would be an excellent signing if true. Can play in a number of positions and is a very good championship player. He's even an ok prem player.

Have seen him play a holding midfield role to good effect, but I'm sure I've read he's done well at cb too. He'd cost around 1-1.5M if papers linking him with Leicester a few days back are true.

Could be a decent signing.

Don't think Perch is up to much at prem level but might be at championship standard.

He is definitely a utility man and don't know how much of a look in he gets at Newcastle these days.

27 apps last year and 25 the year before when they were flying. A tidy player who is definitely a quality signing in the championship.

Are we actually looking to net Perch, or is this another Twitter special we've fell for hook, line and sinker?

Lets not get into the business of advertising hairdressers - but if we are let it be the hairdressers that my wife runs in Feni!

:P

The Zaha rumour is a good one, if he goes on loan anywhere it will be back to Palace

Maybe it's Todd Kane back on loan

So, we have signed Eastwood, Judge and Taylor with Jones, probably, on his way.

That's 4 freebies with Jones the best of a very, very average bunch.

These lads are not going to mount us a promotion challenge and hardly make us any better than last season when we scraped survival.

Unfortunately, I think it's going to be a long hard season, again.

Don't know too many others, apart from Chaddy, who can get excited with these.

Why in your opinion will we struggle ? Surely the NEW OWNERS will bring in new players?

Personally, I'm just saying I'd take him, have no idea if it's even a rumour or not.

Marc Albrighton was linked on twitter the other day. That's probably also bullsh*t.

But I'd take him as well.
