I'd like to see more of Nunes, hope he has a role to play this season.

I agree. He is a match winner. Much like Rochina, he's a bit hit and miss but he's only young. Has real quality and raw pace.

Thankfully, GB agrees and sees him as a key player next season.

Not really a fan of Nunes, I think he's missing a turn of pace actually. Reminds me of Sergio Peter a bit.

I'd rather get rid of him and Markus and bring a quality winger in and let Judge, King and Taylor fight over the other spot.

Wish we had managed to sign Kane on a permanent, but happy enough to see him on another season long loan. Solid prospect with a real apetite for the game imo.

would love that but can see him having a future with Chelsea if his development carries on the same path as it is now

So that's 4 in, a couple on the way and none out. Great. Player proliferation continues for another year then. Here's a list of who I reckon is at the club now and this doesn't include a few youngsters who have been touted as being there or there abouts. Unbelieveable. I would like to see us getting rid of a dozen before we think about bringing anyone else in. Look at the forwards, there's 8 names there for 1 or 2 places. I think people forget about the players we have but if we can't get rid of them they need to be in the squad and playing not sat round doing nothing so we can't afford new players now.

GK - Robinson, Kean, Eastwood, Usai

Def - Givet, Hanley, Dann, Martin Olsson, Henley,Orr, Ribeiro, Morris,Kane

Mid - Lowe, Murphy, Etuhu, Dunn, Formica, Pedersen, Markus Olsson, Jorge, Nunes, Rosado, Wlliamson, O'Sullivan, Judge, Taylor

Str - Rhodes, Goodwillie, Rochina, Gomes, Best, King, Forrester, Edinho

Despite having 14 midfiielders IMO we still have no-one who can create from the middle and no-one who can create from the wing so unless we get rid of 5 or 6 and fill these 2 gaps I can't see where there is any improvement from last year.

Dunn, (big) if fit, can create from the middle. Allegedly, so can Judge. King can play winger and has pace, and if GB believes in Nunes as some are claiming then that's another winger. We still have Rochina who can play in the pocket.

I think it's now or never as far as finances go. If we don't make a good run for the Premier League this season I think we'll be stuck here until we pull a few rabbits from our hats and by some miracle gain promition down the line. I think you should be worried about our ownership and finances regardless of whether we let some players go or not. A couple of months of sanity after two years of insanity hasn't proved that Venky's are suddenly up to the task in my eyes...

If only this would happen. The best thing to be said about Olsson the bad one) is his versatility.

Kane is a good signing so long as it doesn't limit Henley's progress. Agree with others that I'd like to see a decent lb and let Henley have the rb slot. However we seem to have a phobia of buying left backs and Bowyer seems to rate Morris there - goodness knows why it's one of Bowyer's weaker decisions imo.

Reading have signed a few decent players in Drenthe, Bridge and now Williams.

Yep, reading were always going to be a big threat this season, already have a decent champ squad and have the manager to go with it. The new signings strengthen their chances further.

Kane has signed a season long loan. Can't provide a link right now but confirmed on official site.

great news that Todd Kane is back at Rovers. played very good for Rovers. cant really remember a bad game in had. maybe his first game at Wolves but that was his senior debut so understandable

And now Todd Kane for all Season on loan. Brilliant!

The GB Reformation well underway - at minimal cost.

Keyboard Warriors - ST costs only 225 pounds.Mine next week.

I agree that Bowyer is changing the squad around but his biggest job/task is getting rid of players he doesn't want or want to leave. up to 15 players need going

I reckon Olsson will join Stoke and Henley will play left back.

Happy with Kane returning. I was initially sceptical but he proved me wrong. Also hopefully it means that it's the last we've seen of Orr.

hopefully both Martin Olsson and Orr do leave.

Nunes could be impact sub player this coming season

Just hope sparky will come and get olsson.

Hopefully so. time for Martin Olsson to leave. not improving as a left back. doesn't look interested in being at Rovers.

got enough players who can Left back in Morris, Markus and Henley.

Who was it who said Huddersfield would splash some cash this summer? Was it Merc, if so he's got that right.

Just signed Martin Patterson from Burnley, to add to the signings of Hammil and Stead.

Patterson and Stead were free transfers. and Hammill was undisclosed fee. They are still chasing James Vaughan aswell

Dwight Gayle from Posh impressed at Ewood last year and in the league in general. I'd be surprised if no-one goes in for him. Would be better than Wells IMO.

Think Posh will want a big fee for him around 3 to 4 million pounds when Wells would cost around 1 million pounds.

They lost Beckford and Vaughan in the summer though, Stead and Paterson are frees so they'll just be replacing them on the wage bill.

Can't imagine Hammill cost much either. Did nothing at Wolves and they need to get rid of players. Not really splashing the cash yet.

http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/10506443._/

Rovers boss Gary Bowyer is continuing his attempts to strengthen his squad, with his fourth signing of the summer still imminent.

And it is understood that Rovers are also keen to bring in Veseli, who surprisingly left Manchester United at the end of the season

So we still don't know who the 'fourth' signing is? It's not Kane as this was wriiten after he signed and i presume it means buying rather than loaning.

I understand that mate. Them have returned I their parent clubs. However Patterson probably demanded decent wages being a free and considering Burnley wanted to keep him and tried offering him a new deal. Hammil is a good player in this league, stead will be a cheap one. Then if they get Vaughan on a perm, that will be around 1.5mil plus wages, also apparently in the running for another 3-4 players. They'll have a decent squad I reckon.
