Murray scored more goals last season though, and his all round game is far better. Whittingham is a fantastic player - one for the fantasy teams next year because he'll get a lot of points.

Rhodes doesn't get to start for Scotland and he doesn't make team of the year ahead of those you mentioned. It's not a conspiracy or anything, he's just not as good as many on here believe he is.

Cardiff and Swansea have both just bought £8-10 million strikers. Neither looked at Rhodes. I don't think any PL club will at the moment.

I'd rather have Rhodes than Murray any day of the week i'm afraid just cause he got more last year does not mean he's better i'd hazard a guess that Rhodes has nearly as many career goals as murray despite being around 6 years younger.

Andrews was a League Two midfielder when we signed him, not League One. And we were in the Premier League. So he jumped three levels, not one!

WIthout wishing to nitpick, no he wasn't. He played his last game for MK Dons away at Leicester in league 1.

What garbage, here's a player who hardly gets any service from a @#/? team, playing in a negative, unstable, etc.... atmosphere, but STILL manages to bang in nearly 30 goals!!

God knows how many he would bag with a decent team and better service next season!!

He's still young and learning his trade, he's a top, honest, genuine lad who always strives to improve his game.

One of the most potent goal scorers we have seen at Rovers since Shearer, hope to god he stays, because without him, we WOULD be playing the bell enders next season in Div 1!

Murry only got 12 more goals in career but in150 more games, last season was a one off for him .Get a good supply for Rhodes and he will get more than 30 this season

I completely see where you are coming from but Judge was the League One player of the season and Murphy was Crewe's player of the season. Crewe are well known for rearing quality players.

If judge was the league one player of the season why does everything I can find say Matt Ritchie of bournemouth???

The slight mistake stuart made has been discussed and he has said he was wrong around 6 hours ago does bringing it up again to try and show how great you really are make you feel good?

Leeds also chasing Murphy according to LT, they haven't made a bid yet aperently, I think this could drag on,

Also does anybody else think that if we sign Murphy it will be instead of Jones as we don't really need both(though I wouldn't complain if we did get both)

I think GB might fancy them both with an eye on selling Etuhu...that would leave Jones / L.Murphy / Williamson and Lowe for those to central defensive midfield spots

Villa interest in Murphy now...possibly?? If so the our bid is doomed!!

However, as iv said before when uv seen the likes of Shearer, Bellamy, Rsc and Jones come and go..you ain't gonna lose any sleep over not signing Luke Murphy!!

A good player...no ones bigger than the club

I agree - if he signs now we know he genuinely wants to be here - if he goes elsewhere, good luck to him, and we move on.

If he does go to villa hell be joining his best mate Westwood, who he played alongside for 14 years

Who could blame him for wanting Villa? Big club, PL status and willing to give youth a chance!

We'll see..Flanagan hopeful he'll choose us!
