You'd like to think Spearing wouldn't be on a ridiculous wage. Although he did have a run in the first team at Liverpool so he may have been rewarded with an improved contract.

I'd be looking to get Givet off the books first, definitely. He's twice the player Dann is, but blatantly doesn't want to be here. If we can shift both and bring in someone of similar quality (shouldn't be hard in Dann's case..) for less wages, everyone's a winner.

I'd be looking to get Givet off the books first, definitely. He's twice the player Dann is, but blatantly doesn't want to be here. If we can shift both and bring in someone of similar quality (shouldn't be hard in Dann's case..) for less wages, everyone's a winner.

It would be nice with a CB with a pass% of > 10%.

think to be fair to Judge and Marrow, they needed the move away from Rovers at the time. They were talented, but they were just too young to make any impact. I think Hugo Fernandez is one to watch, as he seems to be getting some good reviews.

well we have Hendry and Short here, my guess is that Shearer and Sutton will be drafted in as well. Chairman and maybe secretary roles. This is all just crazy now. We seriously need to ship more players out now, because i hope somebody told Bowyer that only 11 players are allowed on the pitch lol

this is either going to be a stroke of genius by Bowyer, or its going to go horribly wrong. While these players maybe championship quality at best, what happens if we go up? Surely they wont be good enough for the PL, meaning that we will have to ship some out again to bring in PL quality. i know im getting ahead of myself here, BUT, this is all just way too strange.

How many more players are we looking to sign, AND HAVE WE ACTUALLY PAID A FEE FOR ANY OF THESE PLAYERS?

I'm guessing Bowyer had recommended these players (judge & marrow) to the manager at the time as players with good potential to make the step up to the first team but the manager at the time decided to look elsewhere/deem them not good enough and now Bowyer believes they are worth another shot.

Not too sure about Marrow tho, was loaned to PNE and then Fleetwood last season.

Ive no real problem with DJ as a player(at this level) but he and rhodes aren't a match and i cant see either being happy with starting games on the bench, so it is a bit worrying in regards to Rhodes future with the club.

Unless Bowyer legally had no choice but to sign him due to a pre-contract of sorts being agreed in January.(but thats hust rumor of course)

DJ has a decent scoring record at this level. Maybe we will try to give him and Rhodes some pre season time together to see if we can get them to build some sort of partnership.
