philipl Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Hmm. I knew they were in for him but so are two other Prem clubs at the bottom end.
Backroom Tom Posted May 27, 2013 Backroom Posted May 27, 2013 Wouldn't be a surprise if he goes for around the amount we paid for him and a team like hull could take a punt
Guest Norbert Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 I'll believe it when it happens. Until I see him on all the papers and TV stations with the Hull shirt, I'll treat it as hot air.
Backroom Madon Posted May 27, 2013 Backroom Posted May 27, 2013 Hate it when people say things like this without backing it up with evidence..
Steve Moss Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 What? Why would Venkys do such a thing? If they want promotion they need to keep hold of Rhodes. Simple.
Guest Norbert Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Could you possibly tell me if the sky is falling too Plops?
broadsword Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Would it be possible to change the title of this thread, very misleading.
Moptop Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 And this is going to make people buy new season tickets? Sell our best players!!! FFS!
rovers11 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Jordan Rhodes has not been sold to hull. You heard it here first!
Lathund Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 I think there's a chance that we could sell Rhodes, but I don't think that we have yet. Surely every effort would be made to cut costs by offloading pretty much any other player ahead of Rhodes, and while we certainly will have trouble getting rid of the likes of Murphy, Best and Etuhu, we're still only in May. It's only when those attempts have proved futile that we would consider bids for Rhodes, surely? Any sale at this stage would surely be for more than this.
Guest Norbert Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Plops is probably a dingle or Hull fan being naughty.
Boylerhaus Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Can't be true. Venky's take weeks to make the simplest of decisions. If Rhodes does go, it'll take month to be greenlit
donnermeat Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Hate it when people say things like this without backing it up with evidence.. You think you hate it, wait to you see what Chaddy says about this kind of thing. He'll blow his top.
beanie Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Uncle at Hull or not he is contracted to Blackburn and said he is happy to stay so i'd imagine it would take a big transfer fee and huge wages for this to happen after all he'd get a year in the prem at most anyway. Oh and can we change name of the thread.
Plops Posted May 27, 2013 Author Posted May 27, 2013 Calm down guys Apologies if it seems a bit sensationalist His uncle Agnew is a regular down our local and hes been bragging bout his nephew moving. Thats how I kno... Its only a matter of time.
Guest Norbert Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 'Man down the pub then.' Hmmmm..................
Alan75 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Rumour Mill. The Sunday People have reported that Rovers have placed a £15 million Jordan Rhodes to deter bids from Hull City and West Brom, Mail Online have reported West Ham are considering a summer move for Jordan Rhodes. Skysports Jordan Rhodes has pledged to stay with Blackburn Rovers, after they successfully staved off relegation. So there believe what you want but dont panic.
Kamy100 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Someone might want to tell Rhodes representatives that he is off to Hull as they just told me that lots of interest, but no firm bids. Also as far as they know Rovers don't want to sell and if that the case Jordan happy to remain at club.

magicalmortensleftpeg Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 It'll take £10m plus and lets face it, you could buy better players for that much. If anyone is willing to pay £15m for a Championship striker then you have to sell. But I dont think it will happen.
