For what it's worth, Nicko has said on twitter that he categorically hasn't asked for a move.

As will all of these twitter "rumours" they're all usually completely unfounded. Man to watch is Kamy. Usually very accurate and doesn't post tripe!

Both have said no bid for Rhodes today or transfer request from Rhodes today.

Kamy, Chris Flanagan and Glen Mullan are the best rovers sources we the fans have got.

Hull seem to want Bent now according to this morning papers who is available for 6 mil and prove in Premiership.

West Ham want Carroll who is having Medical this week there at WHU according to this morning Sun.

Palace want WBA striker Peter Odemwingle from WBA.

cant see Rhodes going Newcastle not with the chaos happening up in the North East.

I don't think one Rovers fan wants Rhodes to go Chaddy. I personally think he'll stay until January at least. However if a Prem clubs bids £10 million + now then he'll be gone IMO.

There will be plenty more Rhodes rumours throughout the summer and, quite frankly, I'm already bored of them.

Personally, I think he'll stay as I don't see anyone paying £12m-£15m for him. There's better value out there in Spain. Proven players like Bent are also rumoured to be available for £5m so that would make more sense than paying a fortune for Rhodes.

Agree. He'll give us one more season then want to play prem football. It's simple, we don't get promotion then he'll leave and you wouldn't begrudge him that.

If he did leave, we'd have to get two strikers in to replace his goals. I would imagine we'd get someone young in with potential, such as Dwight Gale, and someone more experienced at this level, such as Billy Sharp.

wouldn't disagree with that really. but we got Rochina and Best plus Goodwillie. I would go for Billy Sharp or Adam Le Fondre. both have scored goals in this league

I suppose we know how the Huddersfield fans must have felt last summer. Having said that - it isn't the first time we have had a player linked with moving away all summer - and won't be the last. I suppose we should be grateful that we still seem to have players that other teams want.
