Been called far worse at school. And they were more original too ;)

Yes the tournament is called The Open. But there are many 'Open's now and it's a pretty harmless thing to add 'British' at the start to ensure people are referring to the right one. Especially now as we have just had the US Open (to ensure there are no crossed wires about which competition is being talked about).

Anyway, Rhodes......I'm expecting him to leave, only in an attempt to lessen the disappointment if he does.

Our open is called The Open. The American version is called the US Open. It's quite simple.

I'm positive about the future. I'm sure everyone can see what we are trying to do here. Only 1% of posters are unhappy.

Indeed, I receive over 300 emails a day in support of what we're trying to do on here.

The locals can't say enough good things about this place when I'm out in the town.

Oh, and I discovered Kamy and Glenn.

Now that's whamfc out of the reckoning added to the top 7 teams not being an option so where does that leave potential Premiership destinations ?

Fulham, Hull ? Cant afford the asking fee if its anywhere near £9m PLUS.

Norwich, Palace ? Got their own forwards already.

Cardiff ? Havent got the funds ?

Sunderland, Newcastle, Villa ? Cant see anyone of these taking him from us unless barcode Cashley comes in with an almighty bid of the required asking price.

It all points to Rhodes being a Rover and firing us towards promotion.

Celtic ? don't make me laugh, Cant see his dad wanting him turning out in the hoops and in any case they have nowhere near the collateral to buy him.

Both Newcastle and Sunderland are looking at getting new strikers in over the summer by the looks of things. And both have been known to splash the cash. Newcastle could lose players like Cabaye (or Kebab) for large fees and then have money to burn.

I wouldn't say this is over yet. Although West Ham buying Andy C is a big plus for us.

Carlton Cole released but Carroll retained, I can see Sam chasing another forward.

Linked with Ba on loan in this morning papers

He might be after another forward as Carroll gets injured a lot as well but i think Rovers will want a lot for Rhodes and i don't think West Ham will buy another striker for circa £10million

No way can WHU afford to pay Rovers 10 million pounds for Rhodes.

I wouldn't rule out Fulham personally. Berbatov is the wrong side of 30, I'm pretty sure Petric is leaving and they don't seem to play Rodallega much. Plus they spent 10.5 million a few years ago on Andy Johnson (don't ask me why)......And playing Berbatov off Rhodes would probably work wonders.

With the likes of Sunderland and Hull, they've got the added tv money which they want to keep getting so it might be worth gambling on.

If Rhodes really wants to go he will do. Nzonzi got sold on the cheap because he apparently kicked up a bit of a fuss, Rhodes might do the same.

Celtic bought Sutton for something like 6 million ages ago now. Believe me, they could afford him and his wages no problem. There's Champions League money to go with the large attendances and massive merchandise sales.

Anyway, there's no way we should be presuming Rhodes isn't going anywhere. We all remember the last clown who did that repeatedly on here.
