well charlie austin ain`t modelling any of their gear and their fans feel it`s highly significant, but of course you know better than everyone else, don`t you?

Stop clutching at straws. History is full of club shirts that have been modelled by players who have left before the season starts, as well as calendars published before a player is sold in January.

We can't read too much into the fact Rhodes is modelling the kit, photoshop is clearly Nike's friend...

i`m fully aware it`s photoshopped onto an image of him celebrating a goal last season, but image rights dictate he has to have approved it..

But so what? What if a PL club comes in with a bid tomorrow?

How can he make any decision on his future with so much of the transfer window left?

i`m confident nobody will pay what they`d have to for the club to accept a bid, and as i say, the fact he`s in the image suggests he isn`t pushing for a move himself. we can go round in circles with this all night, but i know what it tells me..

if people have a certain negative idea, they`ll spin it their way anyway they can. if he hadn`t appeared in any promotional material, they`d have then stated he`s definatly going..

Blimey saxo, you were the bloke asking for 'totally conclusive evidence' of Agnew being a wrong un despite there being plenty of it available.

Yet, a clearly photoshopped image of Rhodes in the new Nike shirt is enough to convince you he's definitely staying?!!

Hmmm.. I thought that Chelsea met his release clause ? Also - was Emerton not signed prior to Duff leaving ?

Actually saxo I think it's more about you than the football.

there a minority of cranks that always post in that way, but there are good genuine football posters on my threads too. i`ll appreciate the latter and ignore the former..

It's hardly random, quite precise, really. I'm actually trying to discourage rows, it's that very thing that is making the forum boring and unreadable. Maybe my method wasn't to great but I stand by the sentiment. Yes you do start some decent topics but they seem to invariably descend into pointless bickering. I do worry it makes some of the more readable posters decide to do something else with their time and reduce the overall quality of this mb.

excuse me mate, how do i put certain people on ignore, that might help..? i can then concentrate fully on those intent on discussing the topics i`m posting on.
