Would also explain the rumours that he wasn't happy about something. Can't remember the full details but have a feeling glen posted something about it a while ago. Think it was rumoured that Rhodes wanted talks with Bowyer.

Apologies if it wasn't glen but I think it was.

I can imagine Murphy's removal would help. At the place I work, it has felt better since one of the supervisors has gone the another shift, and the other is on holiday. It's probably like that with lazy boy out the door. Some people just arrive to a new workplace and think they're the man and swan around talking down to other people. Perhaps Danny was a bit like that.

Of course this is all speculation. For all we know Danny's wife may have kept coming down to Brockhall and kick up a fuss because they won't pass to him/play him enough.

Think the Rovers Trust need to have a word with the Swansea board. They should show a bit of solidarity with supporters who have aspirations for Club ownership.

Go and annoy Burnley, I believe the boy Austin knows where goal is.

A premier league club coming in for Rhodes is my big worry. If they do make an enquiry, I can see Fulham possibly also coming in for him.

I think that providing someone bids £10 million plus then it''ll be difficult as surely Rhodes will want the chance to have a crack at the PL, especially if established clubs such as Swansea and Fulham want him.

Be daft not to go to a prem club but no amount of worrying on our part will make any difference. If he's going, whatever we think, he'll go and we just need, as a club, to make sure he doesn't go cheaply. As fans well just have to wish him well, especially if he brings in a nice pile of cash

To sit on the bench Kamy? A season too early for him I think, he's not ready to start in the Premier League IMO. May as well stop here and see how we get on.

Anyway, this speculation will go on all summer. Let's hope he stays and if we get that daft big offer we have enough time to replace him.

I'd take 12m for him it's a fair price he does not seem to be in a hurry to leave so would take a bid of around that to get him a team like swansea would suit him the spearhead of a passing side not someone who has to hold up the ball.

Been here before?

Ah well, I've resigned myself to him going and then that way I won't be so disappointed if he does.

Swansea potentially coming in may tempt Fulham and others into a bidding war, which might be a very slight positive I suppose.

That's the crux. If he's going the sooner it happens the better. To lose him on the last day of the window would be disasterous.

I don't know about anybody else, but this doesn't seem right to me.

Rhodes gets a lot of stick on here for not contributing to the various phases of play and I think Swansea need players that do. Michu is a great example.

Only way I can see it being true is if they're looking to directly replace Danny Graham, but I don't think Rhodes is close enough to the finished product, especially not considering the £12-15million it (should) take to get him.

Also, Hull link seems dead and they're mentioned in the story. Could see Fulham working, though, sadly. London has led many moths to its flame before. Many of them burned, too!
