somersetrover Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Why? Surely thats illogical. We took 4 points off them, 3 off Wigan, and only 1 off Derby and Brighton. We took 2 points off Derby.

Backroom Tom Posted May 8, 2014 Backroom Posted May 8, 2014 Brighton comfy until the most experienced player on the pitch Upson gives away a ridiculously penalty, woeful stuff now Derby look dangerous
LDRover Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 QPR, Nobbers and Saaaaaafend in a 48/1 treble. Monster monster.
Waggy76 Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Winner of QPR v Wigan will go up.... Best 2 squads in division now have it in their grasp .... QPR will be dangerous opponents !
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted May 8, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted May 8, 2014 Ouch. Poor lad Kusczsak...
davulsukur Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I'm off to watch the York v Fleetwood playoff game tomorrow night. On loan Rover Josh Morris, who scooped the league 2 player of the month should be playing for Fleetwood. Isn't Alex Marrow on loan there too?
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted May 9, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted May 9, 2014 Honest 'Arry at it again in the paper ahead of tonight's game. 'Promotion? I thought we might go down! Is the headline. Shine a light, how many players have they signed/loaned, they should have walked this league!

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted May 9, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted May 9, 2014 And that bank account he knew nothing of...
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Painful watching this Wigan Qpr game...both of them no better than our side. Awful game, empty seats a plenty.
yoda Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Painful watching this Wigan Qpr game...both of them no better than our side. Awful game, empty seats a plenty. 14,560
West Yorks Rover Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 14,560 If that crowd figure is correct Pat Nevin and the commentator on 5Live must be pretty thick, they said early in the game that there was a good crowd on and Wigan had marketed the game very well, also around 3,000 from QPR. Doesn't it hold 25,000 ?
Proudtobeblue&white Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 14,560 Awful, but.....and stay with me......would we have got a better gate, live on Telly, against a London club, Friday night? Our support has died by 6/7k - we are at that level. Would have struggled to get 15,000, official gate, 20,000, no point having a go at the rugby town IMO, that's what Indian nouse does!

I reckon we'd have got at least 18,000 with the 3,000 from London, but that wasn't my point, I was questioning the intelligence of the commentators who can't spot 10,000 empty seats.

SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Awful, but.....and stay with me......would we have got a better gate, live on Telly, against a London club, Friday night? YES,without question. I firmly believe we could have beat either side on the strength of that showing last night.Just compounds frustration...opportunity lost.
Rover_Shaun Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Current Rovers would have got about 16,500 for that game. More against Wigan, about 18,000
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted May 10, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted May 10, 2014 PNE away next season would be good though!
ABBEY Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Would it heck .. I don't want to ever step foot in dumpdale .. Keep the scrotes in little lads league
Husky Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 I'd like to see PNE as our 'local derby' for next season. Don't mind if they come up - Preston is super easy to get to - more so than the Manchester teams like Bolton. Rotherham fans in good voice.
