rovers11 Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Leeds losing to Sheff W at Elland Road at half time. If they lose that, it will be worse than our result last night. Simply have to beat teams like that at home.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 The standard of football is appalling in this league.
rovers11 Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 The standard of football is appalling in this league. It really is. Gives us some hope at least. Leeds are one of the faves for promotion. Just shows how poor the lge is.
roverandout Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I wouldn't say leeds are one of the faves, for me, qpr, forest, wigan, reading, Watford, bolton and Leicester are the teams to beat.

West Yorks Rover Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 WDF boys struggling now. Forest 2 Bolton 0 Let's hope that we can get our act together before the 31st, could'nt take another defeat to them, especially at Ewood. Well at least Charlton and Millwall are losing or we could be rock bottom.
imy9 Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Wee Dougie is losing today and is only one point ahead of us in the table...
West Yorks Rover Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Wee Dougie is losing today and is only one point ahead of us in the table... I do hope Mercerman has'nt put his house on them being promoted. Oh dear ! 3-0 now.
West Yorks Rover Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I wonder how long Davies will give WD until he swings the axe, some Bolton fans think it could happen soonish if no massive improvement. Now Tony Pullis would be perfect for them. that would definitely not surprise many.

Mercer Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Eddie knows he has a winner in wee Dougie. Bolton are still two signings off being a real challenger for top two. Let's not forget, they have played both Reading & Forest who are many folks' favourites to go straight up. Will Rhodes debut for Bolton at Ewood on 31 August - now that would be a story !

Mercer Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Burnley now 2nd in table. Rovers' supporters scoff at Dyche but he is no fool - did a good solid job at Watford where many think he was unfairly sacked. Burnley currently favourites to turn us over in September.

When have rovers fans scoffed at him? Anyone would be favourites to do us at the moment as well
Mercer Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 oh kean up plz your getting boring now, take the exit and search up bolton forum your in the wrong place There is nothing as boring as those who are unable to express themselves eloquently, as you have just demonstrated. If you were not so ignorant, you would realise that I was responding to earlier posts on Forest being three up against Bolton. When have rovers fans scoffed at him? Anyone would be favourites to do us at the moment as well Descriptions on this MB about Dyche and his ability have not been flattering !

Quite right Mercerman, we have not had a manager for nearly 3 yrs .Just employed cheap options do the job ! Unfortunately we are run by owners who have no interest at all in the club .
Backroom Tom Posted August 17, 2013 Backroom Posted August 17, 2013 Let's not get too carried away yet They drew with an awful Bolton at home then have got good wins against Wednesday and Yeovil Any team will be looking at those teams and expecting to win - we would lose still
OJRovers Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Quite right Mercerman, we have not had a manager for nearly 3 yrs .Just employed cheap options do the job ! Unfortunately we are run by owners who have no interest at all in the club . I think Berg could've done better had he been allowed to bring in his coaching staff rather than being caught in the middle of shebby/Agnew's mess. Football has been horrible for Rovers for the last 3 years, hardly any positive moments, when will it end!
Ossydave Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 WOW 2nd in the league at this stage, get a frigging grip. Dyche is not a good manager, they moaned about him most of last season.

Bolton fans not very happy with WDF, pressure beginning to mount, Davies does not like it at all when the crowd are on his back. Will also be interesting to see what the crowd is, for their next home game - poor gate last week. Pressure mounting all the time, I tell you.
rovers11 Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Remember that we were top after 5 games last year and in the top 6 around November. Palace were bottom after 4 games, Watford and Brighton were mid table. It means nothing yet. Burnley and Blackpool will both struggle imo despite their good starts.

Aye, wee Dougie, a man without a league win this season, is a real winner. Coyley's had a bit of a mare today too, I see you've now started fellating Sean 'Stone Cold' Dyche. Your nexr crush will be The Guv'nor.
