Absolutely! And another red for Blackpool! That's 5 red cards in two games. Wow.

Greedy @#/?s, they must be making a fortune ! Allegedly !

Not sure what will be worse for you, that we are top or that we are top because you didn't lose :-)

You already know the answer to that one I suspect. Cracking home win 1-0 for your boys against the managerless bottom team ?

Aye the Kean heads made themselves heard a little, really need to give their heads a wobble

edit.... 'That lot have champagne tastes on beer money. I know the mentality of the Burnley fans because I have lived here for a long time '..... Stan Ternent 2002 on the Bunlee faithful.

Haha good anology. Bizzare how quickly expectations can rise. You would think our neighbours would be loving every minute of this, yet still some are booing. Crazy times

You'd think they'd factor in spending no money, selling our top scorer and thank their lucky stars we are near/at the top bemoaning a 1-0 win against bottom of the league rather than being the bottom of the league - still are any football fans really that different?

I've no idea what size Blackpools squad is but putting out a team must be increasingly difficult!

Guest Norbert

Let's be honest Longsiders, many of us expected Burnley to be down with Sheffield Wednesday etc. for the reasons you stated. It isn't just Burnley fans, but many football fans are now spoilt, overbearing, impatient idiots who claim their team will win the league after two consecutive wins, and then demand the manager be sacked if they lose 2 in a row.

I know Norbert. I myself confidently predicted a torrid season for us - that said when it transpires differently I find it best to simply enjoy it. These times don't come around all that often, it may well not last much longer so why bother being miserable about it now, I'll no doubt have plenty more opportunities to be miserable about things for as long as the club continues - most likely this season let alone future ones.

At the least you'll get to play another season at this level.

I'd say Appleton is the worst I've seen in recent years, he'd have got us relegated last year no doubt. Even Kidd had us around mid table in this division.

Sorry, forgot to mention - after Kean - he'd have been talking about staying up in League 1 about now.

Yep got a lot of respect for him

His team are somewhat hanging on in the first ten minutes at Leicester they've got a battering but still 0-0 so expect them to win it
