Dunnfc Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Mee fouled him he went down easy but its daft again by Mee In fairness Leicester look a very good team when they play well (as do we but we decide not to do it often) Vardy had already decided to go down i feel, shocking ball from the back though what got them into trouble. To much emphasis sometimes on playing it the right way and out from the back. Leicester will be in the top two this year if they don't do there implosion stuff again.
Backroom Tom Posted December 14, 2013 Backroom Posted December 14, 2013 Be that as it may Mee made it easy for him he blocked off his run
Dunnfc Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Be that as it may Mee made it easy for him he blocked off his run Yep good point. Interesting stat on Burnley though a majority (most) of there points come from when they take the lead in a game first, they don't like having to come back from 1-0 down.
Backroom Tom Posted December 14, 2013 Backroom Posted December 14, 2013 Typical championship refereeing again though, Leicester defender booked after the ref doesn't punish equally bad ones from Nugent and Duff The standard is appalling
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 It's easy to talk sense when your team are doing well. I think the team's doing well because he talks sense. No silly mind games, just straightforward football talk.
Dunnfc Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Can't believe Pearson who i rate sometimes... Taylor Fletcher on and refuses to play a player like Chris Wood who wood be ideal here
longsiders1882 Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Good second half from us against a team who have looked the best in the division every time I've seen them on TV. On the ginger mourinho, top drawer and earned any plaudits he gets - for one minute forget it's Burnley and think, sold top striker, spent nothing, signed a Huddersfield reject, a keeper rejected by Cardiff a few years ago, a Wigan reject (who you guys also didnt want), and a crock who's hardly played for recently - and he's had them top 3/4 all season? If it wasn't us you'd all be singing his praises from the roof tops! I'm actually beginning to believe we might just manage to stay in the top 6 - but there is still a long long way to go and January is yet to come and go!
Stuart Posted December 14, 2013 Author Posted December 14, 2013 Megson? I thought Dyche was your judas-elect?

The way Derby are playing they'll have a good shout for automatic promotion.Your lot may make the play-offs. We've got the players to make the play-offs but nothing else.
Ricky Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 The quote from Dyche These young ones are living in a world of madness. There was a player on loan at a Championship club last season on £3,000 a week, and hes now on £36,000 and not playing. Cant they come up with a system where they put this money in a trust for these kids, calm their world down and keep them focused on what the real goal is? That's a worry... Surely not DJ?? I'm trying to think of players who were on loan in the championship last season (DJ at Ipswich) and now signed for another championship club for big money.
Stuart Posted December 14, 2013 Author Posted December 14, 2013 Doesn't say the player is currently in the Championship, Ricky.

Irrelevant of who the player is IMO, I agree with the rationale.
longsiders1882 Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 I've no idea who will win it but I fancy Leicester and QPR for top 2. Derby are going well but I'm not convinced they can keep it going to get top 2 but it's possible. Still lots of games to play, top 6 a long way from decided

It really is amazing what a good run can do in this league.

Watched them a lot this season. Last match was v leicester - who they ripped apart. As a competition, the championship is really good, imo.

I reckon Brighton have probably played the best football in this division for a couple of seasons now, If they'd had Jordan Rhodes to finish off their chances they would have been promoted last season and possibly the year before that, BTW a team like Brighton would really set them up for him, bet he'd score 40.

On loan from WBA to millwall & Leicester before being sold to Leicester (also had a offer accepted from millwall but chose the clearly more lucrative offer from Leicester)
longsiders1882 Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Seem to blow hot and cold Brighton, if they can find consistency then they could easily mount a challenge. It is a good competition, so unpredictable.

It is a good competition, so unpredictable. They have had a shocking injury list, which is clearing now. Thought your lot did very well yesterday, after going behind at Leicester most teams crumble, as we know only too well. Can you keep it up ? lots of draws lately, but that was a good one I have to admit.

West Yorks Rover Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Burnley have made themselves very difficult to beat which is rule 1 in mounting a promotion challenge. Watching the highlights last night, they appeared to have plenty of players prepared to put their heads and bodies in where it hurts, when Leicester were putting them under severe pressure. Mr Dyche seems to have them well organised, funny most of their best players were brought in by the last manager though.
