His voice gets right on my nerves, it's like he's got a load of phlegm stuck in the back of his throat. So much so I'm not comfortable listening to him (being Burnley's manager aside).

That's as maybe - but would you dare tell him so?

In other news Paul Ince has labelled us a long ball side - I'm not sure he understands what he sees on a footie pitch.

Paul Ince is the worst manager I've seen at Rovers (and yes that includes him!). Total ineptitude. I don't understand why he's involved with the game in any capacity.

Appleton had a PR firm behind him telling him the right things to say. Not convinced he has much of a clue at all and his tenure here certainly suggests the only style of football he knows is dull, defensive and defeatist.

2,800 is a reasonable following for Weds. Indeed it is slightly more than we have shifted for the Man City game to date!!

Hopefully we will be close to 18 or 19K on Boxing Day.

I think they'll sell plenty on the day too, easy journey from Sheffield as long as it does'nt snow.

Weds fans are very loyal considering their lack of success in the last 15 years, and some shocking ownership/management,

not exactly Venkyesque, but pretty bad.
