i have to say when i read that article the 1st time, i didnt understand what Holt was on about. reading it again, and i still dont know what he was on about. it was just a series of questions, probably aimed at himself at the time, as i dont think that anybody actually bothered to answer any of those questions. that is what you really would call lazy journalism

Did anybody ask him why football writers all seem to be middle aged white men? What would his answer be to that?

Maybe he resign his position and let a half-Black half-Indian Jewish homosexual have a go.

I know that fella, he's a good bloke!

Paul Ince, makes me cringe every time, how on earth could anyone ever think he could be a decent football manager - thick as a plank and generally a tosser.

Now you'll be for it! About 5 years ago I suggested that he had learning difficulties and got all manner of criticism. Whether he has or not he certainly doesn't appear to have learnt much to date does he?

BTW has he got those coaching badges yet?

Mercerman's mate must be getting nervous, Bolton 0-2 down already....

Derby lost today, QPR late winner I think. Forest draw, Leicester win.

Despite looking scarily like he is from the Kean/Berg/Appleton school of completely hairless managers Uwe Rossler could just be a gem.

Did very well at Brentford.

If he is it ends today. He returns to rovers after today :(

Damn, thought his loan was season-long. Hopefully we can shift him out permanently in this window.

Indeed. Whatever hole we've managed to bury Shebby in we could do with digging a bigger one next to it and shoving those 4 in.

We really don't want barrack room lawyer Orr coming back and unsettling the rest of the squad.

Well officially beyond the half way point and we are still second, despite a less than stellar run of results. We are currently a sliver away from and average of 2 points per game and I think we should manage to pick up enough points in the second half of the season to manage the play offs - unless we have a disaster in the transfer window of course.

Top 6 looks like it will be :

Burnley Derby Leicester Nottm Forest

QPR

Plus 1 from:

Blackburn Brighton Ipswich Leeds Reading Wigan

Fair play to your boys Longers, they've had a fantastic first half of the season. Incredible what can be done with an honest group of lads and sprinklings of quality (Arfield and Ings).

However, enoughs enough now - I'd like a spectacular fall from grace resulting in a bottom half finish and a drubbing at Ewood :tu:

I actually know fans who would swap promotion for beating your shower - if I was offered a 10-0 drubbing at your gaff but finishing top 2 right now I'd bite your hand off, really don't understand any other logic!

That said I'd rather finish top 2 and hand out a spanking at Ewood of course.

I still think top 2 will be Leicester and probably QPR but Derby's run can't be ignored!

I think if Nottingham Forrest sign a good striker then they will go up with either Leicester or you lot, if Forrest don't then it will be you and Leicester. Derby will tail off towards the end and I don't think QPR are that good.

Maybe even us if we can get our house in order ;) Still have a feeling we might just slip up at the end but here's hoping for a play-off place!

My greatest fear is a team like Forest coming in with a big offer for Ings - strengthens them and weakens the competition at the same time, classic 2 birds with one stone

QPR will bid for Ings. Redknapp seems to want to sign every player in the league, and loan every Spurs player that is available.

Why would he want to join a team further down the table? How could we afford him? And besides, I don't think Rhodes would work with him well, he would be more likely to do well with Vokes.
