Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted February 11, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted February 11, 2014 Aye, they've had a real resurgence under Rosler. Hell of a squad as well.
West Yorks Rover Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Brighton 1 Leeds 0 Hudds 0 Forest 1 Yeovil 1 Milwall 0 DJ Campbell gets 3 mentions on BBC text 1 missed chance 1 foul committed 1 caught offside DJ now subbed and Milwall score 1-1
Backroom Tom Posted February 11, 2014 Backroom Posted February 11, 2014 You have to think they will go up at this rate
Clitherover Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Surprised that 'Wee Dougie' hasn't been sacked yet, he's clearly not the man for the job. I hope he's in charge when we play Bolton at there's.
West Yorks Rover Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 You have to think they will go up at this rate I think they will Tom ! in 2nd
Clitherover Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 You have to think they will go up at this rate Still think QPR will be stronger at the end for the auto spot then they'll blow it in the playoffs to Derby or Forest.
Backroom Tom Posted February 11, 2014 Backroom Posted February 11, 2014 I'm not sure I think they currently look on course for 2nd but if they lose out at the death it might unnerve them going into the playoffs However they look like the most consistent team around and just can't see them having a bad run of form I wouldn't want to play them even if they weren't our ugly neighbours
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted February 11, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted February 11, 2014 Wee Dougie must be beyond borrowed time. Doubt they can afford to can him given those recent numbers they posted!!
West Yorks Rover Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Forest too good for Hudds 0-3 Wigan too good for Weds 0-3 Brighton beat Leeds 1-0 Results gone against us tonight ! And no game at the w/end
LDRover Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Bowyer may have steadied the ship but, and it gives me no pleasure in saying this, he's not even half the manager that Dyche is.
Backroom Tom Posted February 11, 2014 Backroom Posted February 11, 2014 Looks almost critical for our hopes so many more consistent teams above us and we never look like going on the sort of run that allows us to break the top 6, we're too conservative at times Let's hope we can have another crack at it next season

I can't believe the division will be as poor next term.

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted February 11, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted February 11, 2014 If only we'd been less cautious, on so many occasions!!!
West Yorks Rover Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 If only we'd been less cautious, on so many occasions!!! Our GD tells it all to me, we just don't score enough goals, need more speed up front but not the 'headless' kind.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted February 11, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted February 11, 2014 Burnley win, back up to second. Bolton will be looking VERY nervously over their shoulders. 5 points clear of bottom 3, and all teams below them have games in hand...
stanhillrover Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Jesus. Talk about positive thinking from some. Its pathetic sometimes. In spite of tonight's results we are still only 4 points off the play-offs. Nearer than we were this time last week. There are 48 points left to play for. Whilst the doom and gloom mongers on here have already written our season off with a third of it left to play do you think supporters of clubs like Wigan and Leeds have thrown in the towel and are now worrying about next season instead? As a rough marker, this time last season Bolton were fifth bottom. They missed out on the play offs by one point. We still have to play QPR, Burnley, Wigan, Brighton, Leicester and Ipswich at home. Whilst our away games appear to be mainly against the sides in the bottom half. No season ever ends in February. Whilst I don't personally think we will get in the play-offs, it can happen. I just wish there was a bit more positivity from some. At least one team always starts to falter and drops away, whilst there is always at least one team who comes with a good run. Its impossible to compare Dyche to Bowyer. Dyche has been a manager for longer, has had nowhere near the turmoil to deal with that Bowyer has. Bowyer has had to build his own squad from scratch in a short space of time whilst Dyche has inherited a settled squad put together over a number of years. Oh, and lets just remember, Dyche hasn't achieved anything yet. If they go up then well done, but you don't win anything being second at this stage. And if people want Bowyer to emulate what Dyche has done, they would do well to remember that the main reason Burnley have been doing so well this season has been because of their defensive organisation and solidarity. Very rarely do they give a lead away. Supporters were moaning at Dyche last season for being negative. So all those having a go at Bowyer for not being adventurous enough could do with paying more attention to the fabulous model Burnley have followed.

Just the Dingles game to play for this season.
SoldierMo Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Honestly think dave jones was a massive signing for them...if only we had signed him and maybe let go of williamson would have made a hell of a difference this season

Don't worry if we win at Reading we'll all be up again, who knows they may give away a penalty after 9 mins and have a player sent-off, like they did last week, that's football !
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Every season spent in this God awful league and promotion becomes more difficult...we have had zero form all season . As for Burnley?..we'll have to put out our best performance of the season to get a point I fear.
