chaddyrovers Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 hopefully we will see 3 or 4 of these youngsters in the first team squad this coming season. surely Henley will be 1st choice right back/left back this season. Edwards and O'Sullivan to be involve in match day squad from start of the season. would like to see these 3 players Hugo Fernandez,Tim Payne and Raheem Hanley go out on loan at league 1 or 2 level to play first team competitive football for full or half a season. would improve their development as footballers
donnermeat Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 The thought of Edinho in the team again makes me kean myself in unrelenting fear.
Backroom Mike E Posted June 13, 2013 Backroom Posted June 13, 2013 Why's O'Connell not in that list? Still too young?Edit - must learn to read. Also decided to leave this on show to remind me how stupid I can be although the time/fire thing on ICBINF probably put paid to that.

1979Rover Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 What about Robbie cotton, thought was meant to be pretty useful and we need more in the midfield, anyone think he could step up
G Somerset Rover Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 What about Robbie cotton, thought was meant to be pretty useful and we need more in the midfield, anyone think he could step up Supposedly an absolute @#/? to deal with. Thought he had made it big time and was giving it the biggun. Suffice to say he has not done anything of note with the club yet.
Ricky Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Tim Payne is already an international, anyone seen much about him? Seem to recall he moved from a CF to a DM for New Zealand.
Sparky Marky Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Tim Payne is already an international, anyone seen much about him? Seem to recall he moved from a CF to a DM for New Zealand. Seen him a few times...bowyer played him as playmaker, attacking midfielder....pretty average for me. O'Connell is the only one.
Pelio Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 It'll certainly be interesting to see who Gary Bowyer puts into the 1st team, considering he knows what these youngsters are capable of. Time will tell I guess, but I would personally like to see the likes of O'Sullivan, Henley and O'Connell given some regular action. I'd much prefer youngsters going out and giving their all, than the likes of Murphy and Pedersen who seem to swan round the pitch and not contribute much. Supporters are far more forgiving in defeat if the team has shown passion and commitment to the cause, rather than looking like they don't care. As for the other youngsters, send some out on loan to League One to gain some experience. Players like Fernandez and Hanley may benefit from this as these two look to have potential as well.

You've just named our first team come September!
old darwen blue Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 And after their performances against b***ley last season in the youth cup then I wouldn't complain, although the answer to the question raised is "unlikely"
blueboy3333 Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Anthony O'Connoir related. This has been cribbed from Burton's local newspaper. I miss Andy Cryer. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/10487132._/
Swanson Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 What about this Tim Payne lad? You would imagine that a young player with international games would have some talent (I know NZ aren't the best team in the world), but he doesn't seem to be anywhere near the first team.
bringdunnback Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 The official website has noted that Raheem Hanley and Blackburn have come to a mutual termination of his contract. Was once said he was a bright prospect and made the subs bench a few times, anyone know what happened?
JAL Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 JAL will be along shortly to tell you how rubbish they all are. With 17 year old Connor Mahoney not in that list, yet having been on the bench for the past six games or so and actually played for the first team. How would you judge the lads mentioned against this Chris-h.

JAL Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 I think he said 'they're all sh_t.' Not really because theyve not played much first team football between them, though you have to ask why not given their ages.
