But reading the groundsman's comments he obviously thinks everything in the garden is rosey.

Rather strange to say the least, been out to Pune twice as well.

Hopefully doing the garden is a sign of putting the house up for sale , doubt it but certainly seems that now they seem to have some control of the club right moves are being made. Still a long way back for them though for everybody to feel the venkylovein vibe

One thing I thought of just thinking outside the box a bit, Maybe, just maybe Venkys were behind the story and are trying to get the fans onside. First Agnew goes and then a positive story what next Venkys actually addressing the supporters of there plans.................................... sorry just woke up!

Just to be clear I am not supporting Venky's at all. They are totally useless and have decimated the club, just saying that maybe they are starting to make 1 or 2 sensible decisions like the sacking of Agnew and the appointment of Bowyer.

He was asked questions related to his job and they have supplied him with what he wants, he is happy with them for that. Should he lie? Does this detract what Venky's have done? Of course not but he seems a likeable bloke and a number have said he is so why should he be fair game to be attacked?

Agreed, he was interviewed primarily as head groundsman, and as head groundsman he feels he has been provided the tools to do his job well so will have no complaints.

It's not to say if you spoke to him as a fan he'd be as encouraging

Well, let's hope this added investment produces results, because the pitch looked far from perfect for a good portion of last season.
