roverandout Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 always one shocking death every year, last year it was another big man, micheal clark duncan, this time james G, rip, I remember his role in Pelham 123, was never interested in the sopranos.
T.J.Newton Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 you watch the pish poor Pelham 123 but have no interest in The Sopranos dear dear me! His deaths not really that "shocking" as he was hardly a picture of health, but it is very sad to see him go as he was a great actor and a really nice guy and family man by all accounts.
donnermeat Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 The Sopranos was a class program. A masterpiece at times.
Backroom Mike E Posted June 22, 2013 Backroom Posted June 22, 2013 Also in the film In the Loop -Ignore
Jock Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 51 years old ... Life is cruel at times . He packed alot in those years lol.
T4E Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Sopranos is available on Sky On Demand now, never seen it so I've started watching it. Just about at the end of season 1 now, and it's bloody brilliant. Loving the references to other gangster movies, especially in the presence of people who were in those movies. The best one is when Chris shoots the guy in the deli in the foot, the kid screams "You shot me in the foot!" and Chris replies "It happens" - the character playing Chris plays Spider in Goodfellas and is shot in the foot by Joe Pesci's character.
Backroom Mike E Posted June 24, 2013 Backroom Posted June 24, 2013 ? I made a quote which I thought was from tthatfilm but was actually from TheThickOfIt.
Guest Norbert Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Ah right. You'd probably been told off for the language anyway.
RoyRover Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 I watched this show when I was in school and I remember talking about what happened on last nights episode the next day in school. Great times. Funny how you can relate a certain period of your life with a TV show. RIP James.
ABBEY Posted July 6, 2013 Author Posted July 6, 2013 He left a sum of money to one of his friends whose child has an illness I heard on the radio.
