I cannot believe I have read what I have from you in regards to Jack. Clearly you know the square route of @#/? all about him.

I first met Jack when I was 4, my father did business with him. My father hates football with a passion and yet all he says Jack went on about once business was concluded was Rovers and how he should come up and watch them one day. He went, with me and my love affair started. That match is the only match he has ever watched live, ever. The man was dying and as opposed to spending his final times with his family he was at Ewood working to get us back where we belong. He stepped in when we were on our knees and gave us a golden period the likes of which we'll likely never see again. His will was all about Rovers ensuring we could continue as he had dreamed. His families actions after that point cannot be blamed on him and flybe was nothing to Jack compared to his love, rovers. Almost every action the man took once he owned us and even before was for the betterment of our club and consequently us, you do him a massive disservice with your bullshit words.

My families Chelsea through and through down here and all they say is this:

It's little wonder you're a rover that mans passion for rovers was intoxicating and infectious, he stole you from us.

You're a joke to have said what you have about Jack and clearly knew the square route of @#/? all about him.

+100.

Well said.

By the sounds of it, like a few others no doubt, there is a whisper that moves are afoot to shake things up somewhat at Rovers by the 'owners'. I am led to believe that this is indeed positive, but will have to wait and see whatever the announcement might be.

Though for me it will need more than talk and for that matter actions, this should have happened over twelve months ago. I now want to see tangible positive outcomes on the pitch, with the coaching staff and importantly in the boardroom down at Ewood, for me to begin to take anything eminating from Venkys/BRFC serious, otherwise it's the same old same old for me and still time for them to ship out.

In what way?

Disagree. We're in a far better place this season than last. No Singh, no Agnew, no @#/? Steve Kean.

Sensible decisions are being made. Unfortunately I'd suggest we need 5 years of sensible decision making and a lot of luck to get us back to where we were.

Anyway, apologies, back to the topic thread, saxoman...

That is certainly how it looks to me. .Green shoots etc

I am conscious that it is so what I want to believe. Last close season,,positive messages accrued to some of the signings. At the time,Rhodes, Murphy, Etuhu and Gomes did look positive. However, there was a bit of a paradox in that I was thinking, "Why NOW...why not earlier, when you could have kept us up?".

The absence of Kean, Agnew and-hopefully Singh-does give grounds for optimism. It all depends on who the worst choosers in the world choose to replace them....

You are dead right about the need for 5 years worth of good decisions. Rome certainly wasn't built in a day, but it didn't take too long for the Visigoths to turn it to rubble. On that note, one of the Visigoths actually wrote something about his sorrow at seeing such a great city brought to the ground..." My voice sticks in my throat...sobs choke me.." etc.

Oh for some such recognition from the Venkunts!..

It all hangs on who they get into the boardroom. If we get Ridsdale and some tramp from Delhi, then God help us, if we get someone competent, who is left alone to sort things out then we may just about recover. A decent boardroom (and D of F if that's coming in) and a big clearout of the playing squad are the two major issues.

Things may be looking a bit better now, but I still suspect that Venky's can still screw it up. Perhaps Shelfy will be the only boardroom member with Shebby making a tit of himself from afar.

that wasn`t the question, whether you`d forgive them or not..

But from my post (which was about forgiving them), you didn't gather that I think they CAN turn it round? Whether they will is another matter ofc. But if they do, it will take a cup win on top of successive top10 PL finishes for me to consider it.

I can only assume that saxo1man30 is a dingle troll lacking subtlety? If any Blackburn fans can begin to forgive Venkys whilst we are still a championship team, they aren't worthy of my time.

Every once in a while I'll have a quick scans of other Rovers forums and he's a prominent poster on RoversMad. Not a dingle, just a clown.

I've seen him type some amount of b*llocks on here (when people have quoted him) but believe me I've seen much worse from him in the past.

When you get a poster such as this, most threads descend into nonsense. Banning him isn't really the answer, but if everyone puts him on ignore and nobody quotes him, he will no longer be an issue.

where do i warrant a ban? i`m not threatening in tone or abuse(unlike some on here), i just hold a view on some topics that you don`t like. banning for that would constitute censorship and that goes against everything these forums are supposed to be about.

so you take from me that because i say jack walker was a businessman first and foremost i`m doing him a disservice? for your information members of my family knew jack well in the 70`s/80`s from socialising with the man, i`m not speaking from an uneducated perspective at all.

that`s as much as your getting from me as some things belong private, i`ve already said more than i should have clearly.

I don't know where your going with the Jack Walker stuff, Jack Walker was no different to at least 75% of all people from his generation including the grandparents(and likely many parents) of most rovers fans(and British people) when it comes to his feelings on what your 'getting at/insinuating'

I give up with you, you really are a tool as most forum members have already pointed out.

I cant imagine a single person would complain if you where booted, its just a football forum I don't think you will have any civil rights lawyers banging your door down to defend you, so id suggest you take stock for a while and think about why you irritate so many people.

if you were to ask me, i would say jack walker was great for rovers and that legacy still exists to this day, that is unquestionable. but don`t tell me he ploughed everything into rovers as a priority over his other businesses as that is just nonsense. he didn`t do that and it`s ludicrous to suggest venkys should do it, that is my point.

I always find it strange how people can't respect others' views and put a bit of perspective on things. I think it's in an interesting debate point and find it hard to believe it's a wind up job.

The decisions as of late may be a sign that whatever advice they have been receiving over the last two years is no longer there. If even some of our more hard-nosed fans are finding the recent decisions sensible then surely they are on the correct tracks. I guess the proof will be in the pudding.

Fingers crossed!

I'm actually hoping Venkys are in process of turning it around.

On the biggest concern, finances, is there any evidence Venkys are accumulating debt? Wouldn't there be a security document at your Company's House if they were?

If not, then maybe they are covering the shortfall without recourse to debt.
