neophox Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 http://www.rovers.co.uk/news/article/nuno-departs-885311.aspx Nuno departs, contract terminated by Mutual agreement. Great from Nuno, I hope Danny Murphy will do the same and follow him out in some pride by Mutual agreeing to terminate his contract.

neophox Posted June 28, 2013 Author Posted June 28, 2013 He could had stay and collect his wages and sit on the bench, but he has agreed to forfeit his wages and go to Another club to finish his career, so fair play to Nuno. Hope some of the other dead Wood at the club, Murphy, Orr, Pedersen and Etuhu join him.

Great from Nuno, I hope Danny Murphy will do the same and follow him out in some pride by Mutual agreeing to terminate his contract. as i said on another thread, i reckon only a big pay day elsewhere(MLS for example?) will get him off our books before the end of his contract.. beanie Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Clear out begins. One player. Is number one not how things tend to begin?
RockinRover Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I think we'll see more leave next week once they've had a chat with Bowyer.
Amo Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Is number one not how things tend to begin? How does one player leaving signal a clear out?
TBTF Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 How does one player leaving signal a clear out? surely we don't all think these guys are walking without pay off?? If Nuno has done that then fair play but if thats the case then this thread will stop at 1 !!
saxo1man30 Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 How does one player leaving signal a clear out? oh dear..
neophox Posted June 28, 2013 Author Posted June 28, 2013 Givet has started preseason, wasn't his contract ending on monday so why is he doing fitness tests, or has he sign a new contract? confusing.
Amo Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 oh dear..A clear out indicates a mass exodus of players. Gomes buying out his contract does not a clear out make.

ABBEY Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 A clear out indicates a mass exodus of players. Gomes buying out his contract does not a clear out make. ha I thought the same . http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2350766/Blackburn-Rovers-hope-reach-severance-deal-Nuno-Gomes.html Gomes gets 450,000 pounds if my gaffer is reading this....i can mutually terminate for 450k.
The Rover of Finland Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Givet has started preseason, wasn't his contract ending on monday so why is he doing fitness tests, or has he sign a new contract? confusing.it's mentioned many times that he still have one year left. Robbo has two unlike many of us thought they both would have been free agents this summer. Givet is defo worth for keeping if his head and heart are with. Maybe he could spend one more at ewood under GB.
JAL Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2350766/Blackburn-Rovers-hope-reach-severance-deal-Nuno-Gomes.html Gomes gets 450,000 pounds Should Rovers use this agent ever again for such poor value for money ?
The Rover of Finland Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Should Rovers use this agent ever again for such poor value for money ?on the same page there dickov says powell is the quality player doncaster want. Nick powell could be great loan move for us also. He can play on wing cant he?
broadsword Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 So when are the other 20-odd players leaving then?
Backroom Madon Posted June 28, 2013 Backroom Posted June 28, 2013 MGP has been pictured training with Rosenborg today.
patrickvalery Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Back to Norway? Looks like he'll never get to take Joey Barton out for dinner after all. Bless. Thats such a shame.
bringdunnback Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I googled it, seems he's been training with Rosenberg to keep his fitness up. He refuses to speculate. http://www.vg.no/sport/artikkel.php?artid=10104615 Sad to see people not a little more sentimental about it if he went. Yes, he's a very average player but he contributed last year and puts so much effort in Fantastic person, wouldn't be disappointed to see him leave on a football level but he has done a lot for this club, I'll remember that.

And considering he's been bang average for about 6-7 years the club have been good for him too. Lets not forget that. I know Dunny has had his injury problems, but when the chips are down you'll always see that fat little fecker putting himself about. Peds is big girls blouse and but for his walking stick antics he'd be seen as a welcome departure.
