sparky12 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Rumoured leak of the away shirt although may be a training top http://twitter.com/St_Jimmy_77/status/352038558867017728/photo/1 iv just been sent the same picture, taken at DW Sports apparently
pick32 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 That is the away shirt herd it from someone who works at the club shop, I think it's smarter than the home kit.
OJRovers Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Very nice red and white, I will get one of those even if its just a training kit.
Ricky Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Replace the white with black and it would have been better. Still, I've got to say that I like both the home and away kits this season. Will be getting the pair of them I think.
sparky12 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Kamy just retweeted this link... stock item and $18.99 instead of $47.99 as reported, can get stuffed if true http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/Products/Nike-Striker-III-Short-Sleeve-Football-Shirt-Mens-Football-Teamwear-University-RedWhiteWhite-61727.aspx

Charltons new home shirt is on there too.
perthblue02 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Looks ok, seems to be from the nike striker III range , plain red shorts , red socks? Can see a big market for sew on Rovers badges next season Seems Bradford have the same design only in non stock colours.
sparky12 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 It's the same for loads of teams that have Nike kits. Charltons new home shirt is on there too. think ill just try and salvage a badge from an old shirt and put it on of those for $19
Gumbi Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 think ill just try and salvage a badge from an old shirt and put it on of those for $19 The home shirt is different to the badgeless template version as the home has halves on the back whereas the badgeless template is all one colour.
Brfcrule1 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Online now http://www.onerovers.co.uk/retailprods.aspx?cat=197&h=61 Tom/Kamy I really like that kit and will definitely be getting it but I think what we are all thinking is the biggie when will it be on sale with a sponsor on the front? I believe the kit will look complete with the sponsor.
Backroom Tom Posted July 2, 2013 Author Backroom Posted July 2, 2013 No idea Sav but you can buy it and they will add the sponsor for you later if desired for no extra cost
phildinio Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Just got new shirt great material but one point I have to make is there is a seam now separating the blue and white on the front
Brfcrule1 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 right like last year I might just do that Tom do you know how many companies they are talking to about becoming the sponsor? Last I heard there were a number of options?.
Gumbi Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Just got new shirt great material but one point I have to make is there is a seam now separating the blue and white on the front Is the seam fairly flat or is there a bump to it? I remember on the first Lonsdale shirt we had there was a seam down the middle and the shirt printining I had on it spilt down the middle because of it.
Backroom Tom Posted July 2, 2013 Author Backroom Posted July 2, 2013 Its quite lumpy I only noticed because I got my son a kit with his name and a number 2 on and I thought the 2 had an imperfection but it was the seam showing through a bit
Gumbi Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 In that case I will get both shirts blank as I don't want to get it and then find any printing peels off or spilts because of the seam.
Backroom Tom Posted July 2, 2013 Author Backroom Posted July 2, 2013 Took a pic of the number so you can see what I mean
Gumbi Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 That looks better than I was expecting. On the Lonsdale shirt there was a slight dip between the two halves which meant the white half was 1-2mm lower down than the blue half. I'm going to wait till the away shirt is released so that I can save on delivery costs especially as I want to use the £7 next day service so that I know I will be in when it's delivered.
broadsword Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Kits just leave me completely unmoved these days. Really, who cares?
3rdpillar Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 There were loads in the shop when I got mine.... more staff than customers. though the lad who served me at the till had not woken up and made eye contact with the ground the whole time he served me.
blueboy3333 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Rumoured leak of the away shirt although may be a training top http://twitter.com/St_Jimmy_77/status/352038558867017728/photo/1 Wales had a similair kit in the 80's. looks quite nice though.
