Those criticising T20, get yourself along to a game, and then come back with your thoughts.

Totally different experience to test cricket, which I love, and even one-day games.

Good start to the championship campaign for Lancs too, think we are assembling a good young squad.

Another great win for Lancs. Obviously Jimmy will now depart, but we may see him again as his limited over future for England doesn't seem too rosy.

Shame Surrey collapsed and gave Yorks the win.

But people are saying they are sick of the T20 but it hasn't even started yet.

I meant in general terms. We've had them in South Africa, then the world cup, almost immediately followed by the IPL this year. There's too much of it. It's fun, but only in short blasts, which was the original intention.

Wouldn't mind being there but dialysis prevents. I do have a ticket for the test match at Headingley on Saturday though. Really looking forward to that. Hoping to see Joe Root bat but I'll have to take my chances on that.

Hoping Cook passes 10,000 test runs today, joining a top class list of names. He will also be the youngest to ever achieve that feat beating the little Indian magician.
